It wasn’t every member’s plan to be part of BTS.
We all know Jung Hoseok, or J-Hope, has been dancing even before joining BTS. He was already an award winning street dancer from the group “Neuron” of Gwangju but his family was completely against this.
Because of this, J-Hope’s career was off to a rough start.
It’s revealed that his father is a literature teacher. He attended the same school where his father taught. He was very careful to not embarrass his father because he felt that he was obligated to be a good student because he was the son of a teacher.
J-Hope recalls that whenever it’s exam season, he would pretend to study but would watch videos on KZfaq instead - that’s something ARMYs can definitely relate to!

I'm glad he auditioned for Big Hit Entertainment. If he was in another K Boy Group he might not be able to choose his nickname and we would never know he as J Hope. Follow your dreams and never give up. I want to be a famous KZfaqr. ;) I love you J Hope. ;)

j-hope never auditioned for jyp and it's not his "dream company", i honestly have no idea where u got that information from. facts: Those clips of him dancing was for an audition to enter a JYP Dance Competition. He passed those audition w his dance grp, then they went on to win the "popular award" at the dance competition, took their prize money and left (that was all in 2010). He was later introduced to BigHit's CEO Bang PD by Bangster, his dance teacher and then went on to become a trainee in BH. He was also the first member to sign a contract under BigHit back then, this has been confirmed by himself and their leader RM on different occasions. Him becoming a BigHit trainee had nothing to do w JYP and he never "failed" an audition to enter JYP because that never happened. Please do proper research to avoid spreading misinformation in the future.💜

Please, do not spread misinformation. J-hope has NEVER auditioned to JYP, instead he was participating in the dance competition and won it. During that time he still attended Gwanju Dance Academy so he wanted to finish it first. Then he auditioned to Big Hit.

Hobi himself said he never went to JYP lol. Just yesterday this channel did a video about JK that was literally old news and that everyone already knows. Basically, implied that JK never grew up emotionally and learned how to handle his jealousy towards Taehyung's friendship with his actor Hyungs and that Tae never hung out with JK and the rest of BTS. It was just so ridiculous I didn't even finish the video.

@@RM_7Leader From what I know JK's biggest fear is abandonment. ( Not entirely sure about this tho) When they were trainees V was helping JK come out of his shell and to be more comfortable around them and in his own skin essentially, so from what I can tell JK was the center of Tae's attention for a very long time. He feared being replaced as Tae's closest person. But JK and grew up, JK's emotions have matured and he doesn't worry about his place in Tae's life any more. It's not so much as lying as it's repeating stuff that most, if not all, ARMY know about.

1:38 Stating that j-hope didn't pass his JYP audition is MISINFORMATION. He DID PASS his JYP audition. He stated this in his interview on IU's Palette. He was referred to Big Hit by J.Y. Park because he was a better fit there.

This is not completely true. J-hope NEVER said he didn't pass the JYP audition. In fact, he said in IU Palette interview that HE PASSED THE OPEN AUDITION in JYP. He was also the first signed Big Hit Trainee even before RM and SUGA, he is the third BTS member to join. Please read the book BTS Beyond The Story to know the real timeline of events

Can you delete this video? It is full of misinformation. Firstly JYP wasn't his " dream label", show me any j-hope's interview where he said it, that is made up by you. Secondly he auditioned to participate in "JYP Entertainment Competition", got to the finale with live audience & he succeeded, won popularity award (people's fav act): 300k Won prize and one year Seoul's ART school scholarship. Thirdly, it is true that he got much more support from mother when he was a kid, but why do you overblow the idea that his father was so against him dancing, when in fact his dad gave him a green light to study dance as far as in early middle school? And what "his family was against it" when his mother supported him from day one and even took second job to pay a fee in Dance Academy, where he studied for 6 years. Next thing, give me an interview where Hoseok or his teacher said it was "extremely hard" for him to audition for BH, he never sad such thing, nor any other person. And for your info j-hope was the FIRS member that was signed by Big Hit, because his BH audition was in Spring 2010, he just moved to Seoul and BH forms in December (after RM and Suga). So as you see you made your own narrative, put some truth and made up half of it tho. I am going to report this video for spreading fake info.

I didn't become a army because of sympathy for them it was purely their talented voices and dancing that caught me as haters were talking bad about them an I was curious about who they were talking about have learned that a lot of stuff we read about BTS may not be totally true or it may unless we walk and talk with them daily how can we be positive about everything I didn't even think about their looks they are good looking but have seen dozens of good-looking young men and older ones too I am a person who wants to see deeper the real person so to speak that takes time love all the differences we all have such cool differences it's a fun challenge to me
