I can't believe the number of gooners who wanted Mudryk then turned on him the moment they found out he was going to Chelsea. He was forced to go by Shahkter's President otherwise he would have had to stay in a war-torn country for at least another season. He's had a challenging year on/off the pitch. Not an easy task to leave your family behind with a war taking place, going to a foreign country with limited English skills, playing with a bunch of young players in Chelsea all fighting for a starting spot, and having to deal with the pressure of the price tag, along with not being able to join his dream club. I called for Chelsea fans to be patient with him. Arsenal fans still today say we dodged a bullet, but I see a very capable player in Mudryk. He's low on confidence, belief, playing in a toxic team and for a manager that doesn't know how to get the best out of him. I actually hope if Chelsea are really troubled with satisfying FFP and need to sell players, hopefully we can get him a lot cheaper than what we offered. Arteta has a tendency to persist with buying players he really wants, such as Raya and Jorginho. Under Arteta's tutelage, Mudryk has the potential to not only dislodge Martinelli from the starting lineup, but be an offensive weapon like Hazard was. I know fans laugh at me now, but in time, if he does develop under another coach, don't be surprised if he proves a lot of doubters wrong. People questioned Arteta for a lot of signings, but most ended up being the correct decision. I fear Mudryk is the one that got away and could come back to haunt us

Turned on him? That be the "local" abroad supporters of Arsenal. And tbf, I am glad we dodge his fee. I like Trossard better. But again, could Mudryk shined better under Arteta than his Chelsea Manger/s

@liquidh5226 Poor kid needs an Arsenal lifeline. He would be a devastating player under Arteta. From last week when i looked at his stats, he's played 991mins. That's 11 games of football in total for Chelsea and he's scored 4 goals and provided 4 assists. That's a G/A of 8 out of 11 games. It's a pretty good return for any player and factoring in he's in a terrible Chelsea team with a clown coach, he's doing a lot better than most fans think. It's also his first season. He'll improve next season. There are a lot of idiotic Arsenal fans that embarrass us. Mudryk shouldn't be hated for being forced to join Chelsea

@jackwilliam2965 Yeah we can only wish, but Chelsea have enough players to sell to reduce their current deficit to meet FFP/PSR regulations. I just don't want to see him rot at Chelsea. It feels as though he was handed over like a prisoner from one gaol to another. Now the kid is locked down to 2031 or thereabouts. It was good to see Arteta embrace him on the touchline when we last faced them.

@DavidMiller-xw7jc nope we're lucky we have Rice and he chose us over Man city unlike Mudryk and Caicedo. Agents cant do without players signature so ultimately it was down to them. Just say Mudryk got fooled by his agent and caicedo got fooled by his greed

Look at Kai Havertz. Chelsea has a way of not bringing the best out of their players. That's why Chelsea has so many great players and are a mid-table side.

At the end of the day the decision still lies with him not his agent. If tells his agent no I want Arsenal that’s it, Agent don’t decide they only convince their player because of the fee they gonna get.

I don't know why I feel he could have been better off at Arsenal, though I don't know also if Arsenal would have acquired Trossard, who's so good, had they managed to get Mudryk. I like them both.

I really wonder some of our arsenal funs who judge mudryk wrong dat guy is a star only dat he went to a wrong club and hes not settled in their but if he had joined our mighty arsenal and be under Arteta trust me mudryk would be a stone in the defenders boots for example remember ordegards first season from madrid to arsenal on loan he wasnt as good as he is now , take alook at kai harvertz all arsenal funs criticized him bt ows he performing now days trust me mudryk would be more dangerous than he is now. How can you say we dodged a bullet? The guys dream was to come to arsenal. He just looks like a sad lost player at Chelsea. Look what arteta did with Kai. He can do the same with mudryk.
