She also said a lot more about Pomu's graduation, but that belongs to the pomudachis to clip, I feel. Same for what she said about Mel's termination (which was half in Japanese).

That reminds me about Sana and Vespers 2.0 artist, poor dude, he was one of the rare active supporters of his children too, like even making art consistently and everything

Yeah, that's Pako-sensei, who Kiara mentioned here. Thankfully he really has become a part of the larger VTuber community, continuing to support talents both in and out of Hololive, and everyone is more than happy to have him.

Especially for these extra supportive artists like Pomu's and Mel's, it's painful. I wish this all was happening under better circumstances.

Ayamy's reaction to Mel's sudden termination really hurt her and i can tell she really wanted to see more stuff done with Mel and Mel not able to fulfill her promises was just heartbreaking But i know someday they can come back stronger

What gets me is how the artist seemingly had no idea about it until the official announcement came out. I understand that the artists are more like commissioned workers than actual employees, but finding out the character that's been like your baby for the past 6 years is suddenly being retired for reasons you aren't privy to has gotta be a shock.

Pako papa era el que mas me dolia como dibujante de Hololive... Desde Sana hasta vesper, luego cuando me entere de lo de Mel y recordaba que su mama era vtuber fui a ver el stream y mi corazon hizo 💥 literalmente ella trabaja para Hololive desde hace años con Mel... 😭

En cierto modo para un artista es ver como uno de sus hijos deja de vivir. Es una comparación dura pero en cierto nivel una parte de ellos hace parte del diseño del personaje.

Yeah like, it's different from an anime that represent a fictional character, a vtuber is someone that represent themselves as a character and their illustrator become their parents semi-literally and as graduation or termination is equal to "death" for that vtuber character (not the parson behind it), it's normal to be sad.
