God bless Somaliland! I just pumped into Wode Maya in Hargeisa's Oriental street. I am the guy wearing the African dress shirt christened with the map of Africa. Indeed Somaliland is the most peaceful country in the world today. Cases of robbery with violence is non existent in Somaliland.

there is no such a place as somaliland. its just actually a province of somalia and just like biafra in Nigeria, or kashmir in india, the moment they start to abusing their autonomous status, then direct rule from the capital Mogadishu will swiftly be imposed inshallah.

No wonder there are no mzungu tourists yet coming to bask along the pristine coastline of Somaliland. I guess they are still regurgitating the same old footages of Black Hawk Down and still impressing upon that as the current status quo. There is no way Somaliland would be this progressive if there was no peace and calmness there. The western media is an effective manipulation and mind control tool for the masses all around the world including Africa. Wode Maya and team are doing a fantastic job for showcasing the continent of Africa in a good light.

Yes. Dont forget to add the story of boko Haram. The kidnapping of 1000 school children in Nigeria just within 5months and the daily raping of women and girls by Ethiopian soldiers in the Tigray region plus the fact that Congo the richest country in the world is living in abject poverty due to corrup government! Those are authentic African stories TOO ???? 🤜🙈 Delusion is an illusion.

@@Megapastor yes they are part of the narrative but they are not the only narrative and we cannot be reduced to that narrative only because there are great and exciting things happening on the continent. Those who want to continue the rhetoric of the West not realizing the West cannot survive without Africa and focuses on those narratives for a reason will continue to see only what they wish to see. Remember all that you pointed you can go watch it on any cable channel. We are there for what they refuse to show us. We have huge challenges but we also have accomplishments we can be proud of given our very recent story of colonialism. Remember that for many of us we are the first or second generation born after independence. We are moving at our own rhythm, it's a journey and we are learning along the way. I hope you can find something positive to say about your motherland that is if you are an African. Blessings to you.

@@thisisbiso8770 Unfortunately I don't see much positives in Africa because the leadership has not learned. There was a coup in Mali just last week. The 2nd military take over there in 18months! Africa is doomed! Africa as a whole is a FAILED continent and the United Nations describes Somali as a FAILED state and it is true. Go check the definition of a failed state. I am Nigerian myself and Ngeria is the Giant of Africa but I consider Nigeria a FAILED state too; Plus Congo - FAILED! A falied state is a state that cannot gurantee the security, education and Medical facilities for its citizens; And the reality is that over 80percent of African citizens still lived below the poverty line even though I admire Wode's efforts; Wode knows me and he knows I will not shy away from the truth even though he may consider me his harshest critic!

Thanks wado bro for highlighting Somaliland plea. Samia Hashi & lovely Mother were the host. They both rock Their channel called The Somaliland Tourist. By the way Somaliland was recognised on 26 june 1960 as an independent country by 35 countries. 5 days later we went naively to Somalia without a binding union. They proved tortured us for 30 years then bombarded our cities. 1988-1991. We reclaim our Country back. Without any international help we build our country bit by bit. Now it's the safest place in the world. We were British protectorate.

Especially Gondwanaland. It borders paradise with amazing people on an infinitely beautiful coastline on the most strategically important byway anywhere. It’s sad that people who should can’t see this. If I was Somali, I would do everything in my power to reap this inheritance. I wrote a piece for a Somali friend who asked me to research the history and economic potential of Gondwanaland. Needless to say, the history of the place parallels the creation of humankind, and it’s vast economic potential is tragically largely untapped.

Thanks Wode Maya for showcasing the reality on the ground thats Somaliland. Somaliland is one of the two countries that formed Somali republic in 1st of July 1960. After a state sponsored genocide that costed almost 500k of our people and a guirella war that lasted ten years, Somaliland defeated that regime that commited the attrocities and reclaimed its independence again from the Somali republic. Today Somaliland is peacefull and full functioning state as the video testifies and celebrated its 30th anniversary of restoring independence recently.
