I LOVE it! I'm working my way through the "first 50 tricks" page on your site and loving it, I had to buy some athletic wrap for my finger because I can't put it down hah! Worth every penny, in less than 48 hours I've already had so much fun with it that it has paid for itself. I accidentally hit the ground going around the world in my garage and there is not a mark on it, I couldn't believe it. Super stoked on it, but I did have one question: mine came with 3 white strings and one neon yellow/green. I've been using the neon yellow/green string just because it looks cooler but I was wondering if they are the same material as the white strings? Which strings are these anyways? I watched your video about string types but then when I checked out your store I see poly, high-end, kitty, and cotton but there isn't really a good description on what exactly the "high-end" or "kitty" string is made of. You mentioned in the video you like 50/50 but your descriptions don't say what those are made of. I'd love to know more to help decide what to order, thanks!

Sean Dobbins Hey man, I'm not Adam, but maybe I can help....pretty much any string that doesn't say that it's cotton is going to be some sort of polyester mix. Both Kitty String and the Yotricks High End String are, I'm almost certain. I've yet to try Yotricks HES (not because I don't want to, I just haven't gotten around to it yet), but Kitty String is excellent. I use the fat Kitty String, and it's great. A *lot* of professional yoyoers use Kitty, it's probably the best bulk yoyo string you can get. Having said all that, depending on your skill level, it may be a bit before you even care about different kinds of string, but it may not. Doesn't hurt to try though, I reckon.

You can buy the bearing separately, but in the packs it only comes in the Pro Pack.

It depends on the yoyo. With the Sage, and other yoyos that use a larger bearing, putting it in the bearing seems to work best.

We do not have a video like this (at least not for the types of strings we currently carry), but for kitty string and HighEndString we do have detailed descriptions written on our site you may find helpful.

It sounds like the yoyo is working fine. What you need to do is make sure your hand is moving up whenever the yoyo is moving down, and down when the yoyo is moving up... at least until you learn a proper throw. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/aK-UjKiG2Lm5g2w.html

The Sage Pro Pack contains Thin Lube for unresponsive play, while the Sage Starter Pack contains Thick Lube to maintain your Responsive bearing.

It sounds like you just need to put a little thick lube on the bearing. If you don't have any, a dab of Vaseline will also work.

Unfortunately, at that point they need to be replaced. Most of the time if the pads are getting stretched out that means that lube got on the pads. If you can keep that from happening they should last a lot longer.

If that it happening it means that you are getting slack in the string as you attempt to mount it onto the string, which will cause the yoyo to wind up.

Delrin is a softer plastic that can be machined like aluminum. Since it is softer it does not crack as easily as other plastics, but it does show gashes more readily if you slam it on the ground. POM is kind of the equivalent of non-name-brand Delrin. It is very similar except in most cases (but not all) POM yoyos are molded. Polycarbonate is a harder plastic so it has a greater tendency to crack, but it does not show gashes as much as the other plastics. Delrin and POM are also slightly heavier than Polycarbonate. All are good for yoyos, but for different reasons.

The Sage is pretty much silent, unless you put in an unresponsive bearing. If you do that it may make noise if the bearing is not lubed. I'm surprised that the Fizz makes that much noise. In my experience, while they do make more noise than a standard yoyo, it is not so loud that it is bothersome in the least.

The only way to get the axle out is to push it through the yoyo so that the cap pops off. If you are new to yoyoing, it is possible that the wobble is just happening because of your throw. The best way to tell is to get the yoyo onto the string, push the string into the side of the yoyo a bit so that it stops wobbling (but is still spinning). Then, if the yoyo starts to wobble on its own before the spin dies, that means that the yoyo has a wobble issue. If it continues to play smooth after you smooth it out with the string, then it is just your throw.

Don't get mad at me, but: I swapped the bearing out with the one that was in the WHiP I picked up at Toy's R US, and now it's a lot more stable, lol. Now I just need to find money for strings!
