It's like all the wonderful novels I read as a young woman coming to life but even better. Their chemistry is intense and so realistic. I wish I could have that in real life. I think most people do. It helped that I was a nurse and could take care of her myself. She is going to be 38 on her next birthday which is January 26. Thank you for all you do to help everyone with lymphoma and leukemia.💙

Two actors with high professionalism and mutual admiration and respect. They do like each other and reinforce each other to make their performances highly believable. I think that is best maintained by them not being married, not having to deal with all the business and the mundane that goes with that, and staying in long, slow "maybe this is courtship" mode in their real lives. That keeps the tension of possibility that people love to watch and think about. It's a wonderful synergy of choices they have made and it is magic. Great credit to them for truly exceptional work together.

Has anyone in here seen that film clip where Caitriona addresses this and says, "We couldn't be a couple and be a couple on screen; it wouldn't work." And then Sam quickly chimes in and says, "We could try." They call that "first utterances". I think he wants or wanted to at some point, and she thought it just wouldn't work. And YES!! I agree with all of you who say the eyes don't lie. You just can't hide it. They love each other and in that special way. But I love them both to death and wish Caitriona all the best on her engagement. Thanks for all the hundreds of hours of joy you have brought to our entertainment life.

There is no better example of the love a man and woman would have with each other, than the love Claire and Jamie exhibit. Obviously, it is all part of the written script, but to see the way they look at each other, stare into each other's eyes, stroke each other's faces, hug, and love and clutch each other, just does not seem possible unless their love is real. Just watch their expressions on this video. I feel so sad that my own experience with love never exhibited the depth of passion that Outlander has revealed. How these two actors could do what they do and NOT really feel the depth of love they display, is mind-boggling to me. Perhaps they are just good actors, but if their relationship is NOT what they depict, it is a true tragedy. The world needs this kind of bond between people. A man and woman deserve to develop a love so strong that they would die for each other without question. Claire and Jamie's characters reveal that love. It really is magic, and this video captured a lot of it.
