They literally camp outside their dorm and call them everyday and Sehun recently said that he gets 100 calls from sasaengs everyday. i’m open to having a convo about this but i feel the main reason theres so many saesangs and fans that are against idols dating for example is because of the image these idols are made to present. these idols are marketed as perfect boyfriends/girlfriends and purposely make their interactions with fans personal, it creates a sense of ownership of the idol in saesangs, a sense that “this person belongs to me and therefore i should do whatever i can to be with them because they must be in love with me too”. Now this absolutely doesn’t excuse the shit these idols have to go through and the complete invasion of privacy but yeah just a thought.

I have read before that Haechan was pretty nice even to sasaengs. Think how much he has suffered to the level reporting them to the police

Sasaengs are living in fantasy worlds where they think this stuff is ok, they will get noticed, and they will date their idols. Maybe they think idols will be impressed with their efforts when really, it has the exact opposite effect. These people need to cut it out and realize idols are people too. They want to eat, sleep, drink, and even pee in freaking peace!

There are literally looootttttsss of encounters between exo and their sasaengs. Baekhyun shared one time that a “fan” he knew turns out to be two-faced. She was actually a sasaeng. Baek found her with another sasaeng outside his/their house's door (maybe their dorm?) and expressed his disappointment because he knew her for a long time already. Baekhyun even beg for the 2 sasaengs to protect his privacy 😭 A sasaeng once also stole Kyungsoo's boxer and even posted it online. Leik wtf??!?! They are so sick in the mind!! 😤 And another situation, I think it was an ig live and Kai literally showed a glimpse of the sasaengs on camera waiting for him outside the car. One member fainted, another was pulled down. 4 of them are still minors (the youngest being 15) and the eldest is only 19. AND the fact that they didnt even debut yet. (especially when KrisHanTao was still on the group) They even blackmailed Suho that they'll leak their conversation with a girlgroup, they ruined Baekhyun's brother's wedding (he looked so disappointed), selling D.O.'s brief online, attempting to kidnap them and many more. That is why I fully understand if unlike many other groups, EXO doesn't share something about their personal lives so much because that's the only way they can get atleast a little privacy.

EXO are who directed me to this love of Kpop, Jpop, Cpop. The boys were all so talented. Their singing was engaging. Their choreography stellar. I knew I wanted to listen to more songs and more groups like them. Unless it was dubbed so I could understand the song, I just listened and danced to the beat. The songs made me a happier person. I didn't know about them as a teenager. I knew them as a mom of two tween girls. At 51 years of age I still consider myself as a fan. I don't see them as a teen idol but rather as talented boys of whom I'd admire. I am so proud of what all they have done. I'm so happy that they are such good boys. Seeing this video and reading these comments makes me so sad. I know that any choice can come with good and bad consequences. These boys are doing something they love, something that makes them happy. Everyone should be happy in this life. To hear them having to dodge crazy fans in such a way is just heartbreaking. They shouldn't be fearful when they are chasing their dream. Their company really needs to protect them. I know from a motherly perspective I would love to do all I could to protect them but I know I cannot. It's not just EXO either, but all of the industry from all the different countries. These companies should recognize their talent, they should appreciate their talent, and they should protect their talent.
