47 has to be a time traveler. He says the exact same things as his assumed identity does. That goes beyond preparing for each scenario. The only reasonable explanation is that, like us, he's able to redo scenarios and see how they play out in entirety.

I just like thinking that Flowers and 47 both are just quoting the same Wikipedia, that's why they say the exact same thing.

Given that the issue: 1. happens specifically when 47 is in the room, and 2. involves Yates talking as if Flowers is not actively speaking, I think this is a result of the game erroneously thinking 47 is disguised as Flowers in this scenario. The delay in when Yates becomes capable of interrupting Flowers seems like the kind of duration the game would wait for the player to trigger 47's version of the speech. It's definitely a bug and not an intention to make the scene unviewable.

I checked out the flowchart. Truly amazing. I don't think any other level does this. Someone put a lot of thought into this.

This is brilliant. Not only is the breakdown great, I am so glad to find out that you CAN get the sommelier to take up the wine himself.

I always liked to imagine (beforehand) that 47's spiel as the sommelier was completely improvised bullshit. Less like the "technically true" facts he presents as the tour guide, just whatever he thought he could get away with. Which is usually too much. Makes it even funnier from Diana's perspective.

My theory for why this is occurring is because the game thinks because 47 is in the room and the wine has been placed by the sommelier “Mr Flowers”, 47 must be dressed as the sommelier and about to do the speech about the grand paladin. If I’m recalling correctly I think the trigger for Don Yates to say the “stage fright Mr Flowers?” lines is if you place the wine disguised as the sommelier but then wait for a bit and don’t give the speech yourself. So presumably this is triggering because: 1) the game has acknowledged the sommelier “Mr Flowers” has come in and placed the wine, whether that be 47 disguised as him or the actual Mr Flowers himself (as shown by Yates saying the “ah Mr Flowers our resident sommelier” lines which he obviously doesn’t say if you just place it yourself to trigger the meeting since the wine is already there) 2) 47 is in the room The game probably then assumes given these two conditions being met you are doing the “intended” path which is dressing as sommelier and placing the wine yourself, triggering Yates to say his lines about stage fright when you are in the room with wine placed by sommelier but don’t give the speech.

Does no one care that 47 holds the bottle like a dagger? I feel like if you held it that way you’d probably drop it

I just finally pieced together the trilogy after buying the 3rd one for my 1st ps5 game about a year ago and got 2 when it was free a while back and just paid for 1 after a few missions after seeing the levels of details of this game. I am blown away at the direction IOI took the hitman series. I have to say these are my all time favorite games. Blood money was a big hit for me and I love seeing hints at it here and there too I think my favorite Easter egg was the Janus funeral mission story when you lay down you get a nice little tune of Ava Maria and a "this takes me back" from Diana lol IOI just knocks it out of the park. My biggest regret was that I did not give them the same chance sooner.

I quite often launch some missions, and just explore the map. Every time, I find something new, even if small. Some things, like what was in this video, are really difficult to find, but if you know where to look, then you can try. That's why I like Hitman so much By the way, the video is done very well!

In this mission, I got the wine and the first thing I did was smash it on the ground. I was so surprised to see that you had to replace it with a random bottle and present that 😂

In my early attempts of this mission, I had done all this (also poisoned glass of Yates) and waited 10 minutes He didn't move so I assumed he never will and we have to take the bottle up by ourselves Damn if I had just waited 5 more minutes 😭😭😭

I just had a dumb thought, You could probably actually make this entire game into a movie if you used Vr Hitman, all these camera angles, and following the mission stories that are the most "canonical", it'd also probably be a really cool spin on the gameplay genre as a whole.

It's funny, I'm sure in the process of making sure they hadn't accidentally left any of their native French in the game, they ended up translating every instance of the wine's name, so the world-famous Gran Palladino becomes Grand Paladin and nobody apparently realized this was dumb.

As a French, so many things bother me. How the wine is stored, how it's not allowed to aerate or decante (although that 3 foot pour may aerate it a bit), and most importantly how a 80 year old wine is still drinkable. In my experience, even in good storage conditions, wine is more often bad after 40 years. And don't even get me started on how the officer uncorks the bottle.

A bit too much farting around, could have gotten the video down to 7 or 8 minutes and still got the information across. Still, it is pretty cool. If we still had the star rating system then I would give this a solid 3/5 stars
