I think it was awesome they made it still sort of "adulty" in the jokes. And didn't focus on it as a new audience of children watching it. This was definitely made as an ode for us olders fans.

@@therandomdrone4370 Dude, an adult man implying but not outright saying he’s not a virgin is not nearly as “adulty” as you think. It was also one joke. How many times did they say “virgin” in the original? How many mentions of Alison’s “yabbos”? How many mentions of Sarah Sanderson wanting to “play” with men? Or of Billy being their lover? What about the multiple fresh corpses we see including a child, a cat (twice), and three women being hanged from the neck? The original was more mature than this sad excuse for a sequel.

I realized in the scene where the girls trapped the Sanderson Sisters in the salt force field, they made a huge mistake by leaving the witches unattended in the garage. I would've kept my eyes on them just to make sure that they wouldn't try to do anything stupid. Also, if I saw that Mary's broom was a vacuum cleaner and could suck up the salt creating the barrier, I would've grabbed an axe or a baseball bat and start smashing it to pieces.

Well considering that the Witch Mother still lives, it’s a possibility. Who knows? Maybe the Sanderson Sisters will come back as heroes! Redeemed when the Witch Mother seeks to use their power for another nefarious scheme. I mean, come now, who ever heard of a witch who REALLY died? You can ALWAYS get them back!

The second part is the retribution for the sandersons .. I'm happy with the ending. They deserved that destiny. To be remembered for the brotherhood love.

sorry but Hocus Pocus 2 falls short to the original. I love the wickedness of the Sanderson sisters - pretend all you want their evil is downplayed in the sequel.

At some point I'd love for Bette Midler to play the ghost of Fruma Sarah in Fiddler on the Roof, which would be SO fitting - not only did Bette get her start performing in Fiddler, but played by her, Fruma Sarah would basically be a Jewish Winifred.

That's one problems with the sequel no dam dam double dam. So it sucked fun out of us hearing swear words in a Disney movie and the sexual innuendos etc
