He needs to stop being around that chick. She's trying to provoke a break up and cause misunderstandings. She'll try every means to do so. He's still being around her bc he's nice and they're friends, but she isn't a friend. A friend will wish u happiness even if they can't be with u romantically. She knows that he loves the fl and still in love with her, but she was happily content and willing to be by his side bc fl wasn't around and they had broken up. Sometimes u just need to cut ties with friends if they're toxic or causing havoc in your life...especially if you've already told them your true feelings and asked them to stop being like that.
