“The Scientist” is a documentary that traces the story of Dr Mechoulam from his early days......as a child of the Holocaust in Bulgaria, through his immigration to Israel, and his career as the chief investigator into the chemistry and biology of the world’s most misunderstood plant. Dr. Mechoulam ascertained that THC interacts with the largest receptor system in the human body, the endocannabinoid system (ECS).

I presented my work at a conference with Dr.Mechoulam in Pueblo, Colorado at the Institute of Cannabis Research, April 2017. We got on the same elevator at the hotel and when my friend and I shouted "Dr. Mechoulam" with glee when we saw him, he put his palms together and quietly, said, "yes, yes, now we are all here". His keynote addressed the lack of attention to his 40 years of cannabis science research that clearly verifies the effectiveness of cannabis for a multitude of conditions. Including reducing the pain and discomfort of chemotherapy in children with Cancer. He was truly disappointed that kids were being denied cannabis treatment, even though 40 year old research confirms the positive results.

As someone with osteoporosis and someone that is genetically loaded (mother and grandmother) for Alzheimer's disease, PLEASE allow and continue research along Dr. Mechoulam's discoveries. Why is that a few can dictate to me what my future holds? I hope that this unbelievably stupid resistance will be gone before my granddaughter is in the same position that my mother and grandmother were in and I am in now. And the Nobel Prize goes to.....

idk why this made me cry, but I truly hope this year people try to get more educated on this topic. as a budtender, my heart is so happy hearing a product helping my patients pain and overall daily life. it’s truly beautiful how much this one little plant can make such a drastic positive difference in someone’s life, amazing :,)

The doctor is 84, so not much time left for this man to be on Earth. Glad he is getting the recognition he deserves for his work. He is a big part of things starting to change in this world. "One must learn from history or they will be apt to repeat it".

August the 10th 2018 I declare that I have founded Turkish Cannabinoids and Endocannabinoid System Research Society. It is the first and so far only society/foundation in Turkey. I wish all scientist from every corner of the world and from every discipline be it from medicine or from economy or anthropolgy etc will contribute to this new paradigma which is almost 5000 years old. I wish this guy was around to convince my parents to let me get some THC drops when I had cancer when I was 13. I was throwing up so much, they eventually had to give me TPN, which is essentially a giant IV bag of a milky substance with nutrients that a person would need every day. By the end of the treatment, I was 70 pounds underweight because I was still throwing up.

Can anyone explain to me difference between canabis plant and the one teenagers buys on street that destroys there personality makes them very aggressive Because people r saying canabis great for your health and if so how come so many teenagers and people in twenties break out in aggression get addicted and need therapy to stop how it's effected there personalities I'm just looking for some information on this

I have Epilepsy for years now.. However, I would buy weed from everybody then found a friend who sold me Medical Marijuana.. Makes me lazy, didnt want to do anyhting. Addicted to it. Spend Boo coos of money on it. Now that I have been weed free I feel that I am so much a better person. Praise Jesus!!! I just dont know How this could ever help anyone.. I'm NOT against it, but I'm NOT for it neither.. NOT anymore anyway....
