Scout arrives back on the first few days of the month; save before and reload until you get a PTBAS or similar. The future star doesn't guarantee a Messi, just a player with 75+ potential.

I think the game assumes that ONLY forward players can be "stars". I've played about 50 years across different CM saves, and not once has a midfielder won the Ballon d'or.. It's always a Striker or a Winger. I had a 99 Kai Havertz outscore a 95 Rashford in both the PL and the CL, but Rashford still took the Ballon d'or home.

When the players are under 60 rated they don’t have any potential status. As soon as they hit 60 they get the potential status

Sometimes but it is less common I get it people usually only do one future star and not an entire team and you want to get someone who scores a lot of goals not a defender

I think EA usually deliberately put it in the coding you have a higher attacking minded player because they are usually the players who are known for being future stars and defensive players are always looked down on, also because of this a 3-4-3 for simulation games would have made sense because of the amount of wingers

Going to settings and changing USER game settings accelerations to 100, will definitely win you any game even if you are playing with some 60 rated youngsters.

Bruh moment in my career mode I used regular youth scouts and I have an 80 rated 16 year old. Had him from 15. CDM, English, some over 92 defensive stats. He’s a beast.

6’6 German striker reminds me of this game generated young animal of a striker I got from Flamengo in my Newcastle career mode I’m doing rn. 21 83 rated in 2 years of grinding the training. Came with 89 shot power and 89 finishing just had to work on his dribbling now he’s a run away train down the final 3rd

I used this also. My player Faria an spanisch left midfielder looked great but he didnt get the high potential. As he was in my youth academy he’s potential downgrated to 74-80 and didnt change. Very dissapointing
