Most people know Aniello "Neil" Dellacroce as John Gotti's mentor, but Neil himself had an equally interesting story. He was the second most powerful man in the Gambino Mafia family. He was highly respected among other mobsters and had a reputation as a real gangster. So if you are interested in learning more about this man, then meet Aniello "Neil" Dellacroce, on the other side of the law.

The Gambino family was done the moment Neil died. He was the one thing keeping Gotti from clipping Big Paul.

It's possible the family would've fell regardless. If Neil didn't speak for John to not be clipped.. Someone else maybe would've been a more reckless version of John while Paul still was caught on tape.

You don't pronounce "Castellano" with a "y" sound for the two Ls. You pronounce it the same way that you would if he only had one L in his name, like "Cas-tel-aun-o." How do you not know this, given how famous he was as a mobster? Also, Dellacroce's parents were from Naples, not Sicily. Why do I subscribe to your channel again?

If I'm not mistaken Dellacroce was born in New York to immigrants from Naples not Sicily . Neil and Gotti would be the butt of whispered jokes by Paul Castellano and Joe Biondo both Sicilans, Gotti and Dellacroce roots where from Naples .
