9:38 are you talking about Reo? Because has more Goals than Isagi and Kunigami and Bachira. He scored 6 goals, Nagi score 10, Isagi got 2, Bachira 1, Gagamaru 1 and Chigiri 2, Kunigami and Kuon have 3. Reo is still in the competition. The fact that he was in waiting room with Nagi means that he passed the test with blue lock man and scored 100 goals in 90minutes.

I think Nagi scored 10, 7 before going against team Z and 3 goals during the match with team Z.

There is two things people usually forgetabout Reo and Nagi. 1. Reo doesn't want to be the best striker in the world, he wants to win the world Cup with Nagi, the man with innate talent if Nagi is best then it doesn’t matter if isn't number 1, that's their deal. 2. None of the players knew that they were gonna be forbidden to represent Japan by failing in Blue Lock until they came in the first selection, it wasn’t mentioned in the contract so Reo is screwed just like Kira. He has to keep going till the end or he won't be able to win with Nagi. It is really heartbreaking to him because it's only the begining. So Nagi leaving that soon hurts.

@@bimbungus they had chance to leave before knowing that they wouldn't represent japan if they fail, Ego kept that part in secret. Once they were in they were trapped. People tend to forget that Ego took their career in hostage without their consent nobody agreed to that part not even the kids parent. They went along either by confidence or by fear.

You guys misunderstood the twist. In the first selection, the top two teams move forward. Nagi and Reo's team was first, and Isagi's team was second. The best strikers moving forward was only for the last three teams that didn't move forward. The twist was that there were five groups of VXYZ teams and not B-Z. Also, the holograms aren't actually touching stuff they literally explained how it works. It's still ridiculous but they explained how it works. They also explained the reason for the first selection too and why they formed a team.

Funny enough, I can compare that hologram to a FIFA game (football game for anyone who doesn't know). After the shot is taken, a simulation simply runs and calculates (probably through the chip in the ball) if that shot would be a goal or not in a real situation. If it wouldn't be, then the blocking animation of Blue Lock man runs.

I think they kinda miss the point of the first selection and it's about learning what it mean to be a striker. The one who can score the goal (Turn 0 into 1) will unite the team around that goal. But your team would still try to surpass you so it's not all friendship and rainbow kind of stuff as much as it's a competition to see who could emerge from the team as a Striker. Also, the Ego aspect of Blue Lock isn't about ready to betrayal others or battle royal death match bullshit. It's about having a a mentality to take on challenge and not shy away from the competition. Never give up the drive to be number 1 even if there's always seem to be someone better than you. Feel like they expect the show to be something it isn't tbh. Blue Lock probably isn't the show for them as

the microchip is obviously a stretch of technology, no doubt lol. But this show is so much fun and hype that its not that big of a deal for me. Also, I will always love how this show is one of the rare sports anime to be about focusing on yourself, which is honestly a very real perspective if you're trying to be the best in the world at something. Love this show. Great video guys! :)

strikers can defend among other stuff... only thing they cant really do is goalkeeping... thats why only the goalkeeper was made as a hologram

Ppl in the field have to be more dynamic, not like the goalkeeper who most of the time just have to guard that space with a clear "goal" in mind. I kinda agree with the fact that they didnt replace the goalie before with the AI but putting blue lock man in every position aside from striker is unrealistic even for this show.

4:36 Why? Simple because it would be too easy. They are here to become better not have an easy life. Also you have to take the number of players in considerations. A football team has clear number of players and everybody play in some specific position. If we gotta train and evaluate everybody why messing things up by putting a hologoalkeeper and therefore preventing someone to play and to evaluate?

The way I interpret the point of first selection is to learn the sport from zero where they don't play by the modern rules with position and strategy so they learn every little aspect of it and the reason it evolved along the way

Blue lock man does not actually touch the ball. The microchip reacts when the contact would happen if a solid object was in the place of the holograms. Now the actual issue is how exactly is the contact simulated, considering the the ball is an actual solid object. Probably some bullshit magnetic thing gooing on. So the room itself is pulling on the ball in the apropriate direction when the pseudo contact with the hologram is detected by the chip. So Blue Lock Man is not a solid hologram, they are faking it, and it only works in the rooms/playing fields created for it. At least that is how I understand it.

Exactly, it is not the best explanation (I mean within the series, yours of the possible function of this mechanism is amazing) but it is enough "plausible" albeit practically impossible with the resources usually available to the football organisms from the country but we are also talking about a world where a program that nearly allows trainers to kidnapp and mistreat children with the objetive to find the definitive striker exists so... Also the explanation gives the answer to why this is used only on this football trainings, the basis of their principles give us the implication it is technology with very specific uses, not so easy to use in warfare for example (imagine, you need to project the hologram, modify the projectile you want to deflect and invest in changing the enviroment where you are going to use it. All of that to maybe only a hundred holograms or so with no dependable nor modifiable ammunition in a very limited area of maybe a few squared kilometers easily recognisable at raw view. And that only would be a lot of millions already spent. So if it seems stupid to use it for football trainings of children imagine at war. It is more efficient well-spent this way where at least you could develop an elite training center for nearly every sport that requires the use of some kind of "ball").

On the topic of why the goalie holograms weren't used: You were saying that they were looking for the best striker so why make someone a goalie in the first selection, well that because Ego isn't looking for the best striker. He's looking for the biggest egoist to BECOME the best striker, and well, an egoist who arrives at blue lock wouldn't let themselves a goalie would they? They would put themselves in a position to score. A few other things I won't say since it spoils things in future. But the main point is the goalie thing I THINK, was meant to test their EGOs

*You know, the hologram stuff is actually something I think is pretty possible to make.* The self-moving ball, however, I have no idea! kk 😆😆 Like, having a sensor in the ball to input its position into a simulation program would be pretty standard stuff. You see vids in KZfaq of people making that kind of stuff by themselves, like the guy that made a basketball hoop that seeks the ball. Once it's in the program, checking if the virtual goalie touched it would be the same as they do in a videogame. However the ball would be challenging, because it would have to somehow throw itself in the direction the program tells it should go. I imagine it could use something like compressed air, but I'd be surprised if it would be enough to perfectly change the trajectory of the ball like an impact would. I don't know anything about that, though, so maybe it could kk Alternatively, they could make the ball also a hologram and instead track the player through a motion capture suit. Though I would think it wouldn't feel quite right to kick the air rather than a physical object.

No one seems to be explaining blue lock man. Yes it’s a hologram but no it can’t actually touch the ball. The ball has some small device in it that can move the ball from the inside and it lines up to look like blue lock man did it
