Savanna Rose I’m a 32DDD/F and I don’t have much back pain from my breasts but I lift tons of weights and workout 5 times a week. I highly recommend that for avoiding pain. I’m 5’3 and a size 4/6 so they are quite disproportionate, but the workouts really help

My breasts ended my life of playing tennis and being athletic overall. It’s so uncomfortable in addition to throwing off my balance and making it hard to move fluidly... so many sports require arm movements that cross the body and with a big chest you can just forget about it. Not enough sports bras in the world for certain things. Seeing her run made me think oh screw it, so what if they move around? Sure it hurts and sure people ogle but it’s MY life and MY body. As women we sometimes forget it’s our body :/ I mean, as a girl in high school tennis and riding were THE sports I used to escape stress and both ended up being deemed “inappropriate” due to my breast development. My tennis instructor flat out said “they are a distraction in addiction to inhibiting your movement” My team coach said that my breasts caused a “ruckus” and that it was best if I just played as a hobby in my private life. And all I wanted was to be able to move without feeling clumsy and that’s the advice I was given: QUIT. As to riding, you’re expected to have a particular silhouette and a large bustline doesn’t fit that criteria. I still rode but all my riding shirts and jackets required extensive tailoring to accommodate things and keep me closed. Thank god I adapted to my balance shift and was able to ride competently if not competitively. It was just something to do to stay occupied and confident. Ugh, it’s really sort of a grass is greener scenario and people assume that having a large chest is somehow a benefit...there are lots of negatives beyond pain you’ve got people who dismiss your words because they just see a big old boob, people failing to make eye contact can get to making you feel isolated after a while as well. Your father’s friends become creeps. Your male friends become creeps even though some try to hide it. Your female friends won’t let you meet their boyfriends and you slowly start getting left out of things unless you bring a date because lord knows you might attract unwanted attention and no one likes a show off. It’s really hard to find turtlenecked cocktail dresses but I did it by gum! I’ve been hit on by every single one of my closest friend’s partners over the years and that’s an awful thing, when you tell the friend you’re risking getting blamed, you’re causing pain and setting things up to be uncomfortable, I learned to keep my mouth shut and just deter the men as much as possible in private. I’ve had to literally SLAP men married to friends and family. Groped at weddings by the grooms, whispered to at dinner parties when the friend goes to the restroom, handed notes that get questioned later and believe me it never goes well, texted from friends’ phones in the middle of the night BY the husbands/partners...it’s disgusting and slowly someone who’s a bit of a prude in all reality ends up being considered a floozy. I’ve never really talked about any of this beyond the loss of tennis but it’s really infuriating and as I recount all of it there’s a definite accumulation of hurt and resentment. I get it too, it’s a very first world problem, I don’t expect any sympathy, it’s not intended as a poor me scenario but it’s being left as a comment to remind others that looks aren’t what they appear quite often and all people need to be treated with respect, and breasts have a real bodily function that somehow is eyed with skepticism and disgust. So all this is fine by society’s standards but the second I breastfeed out in public it’s an obscenity. I live in Ohio and technically as far as the law goes we women don’t have to wear shirts...not that I’d ever test those waters but I’ve been side-eyed and yelled at for breastfeeding. Covered up, in a corner, quietly nourishing my child and drawing ire from both men and women.

It depends, when your breasts are really large, you need a bra. So, D-K need bras. You should always wear a good sports bra during exercise, as extra bouncing causes wearing down. However, wearing a bra 24/7, even in casual situations, your breast (I forget what it's called that holds them up) will start to atrophy, due to them not having to do their job.

Alydia Forten I don’t know about you, but I’ve met several woman with her body type that have naturally bigger than average breast and a somewhat slimmer body in comparison. Maybe you’ve just not come across those body types as much... although I do agree with the world and it’s skewed image of the female anatomy. You’re correct on that.

I'm a 28 H naturally and know a few other people with similar build and bra size. It's definitely not common but it's not so rare that the only way a woman would have this bra size is through implants.
