Einstein is the most overrated human being of all time. These "most advanced" theories were not his. Special relativity was done by many people but mostly Poincare followed by Lorentz. Before Einstein ever published the 1905 papers Poincare already figured out the fundamentals of SR while Einstein was simply reinterpreting what Lorentz did 10 years before, postulating what was already proven. In interviews he denies any influence from Poincare even though his friend remarks pouring over Poincare's 1902 "Science and Hypothesis" which was the first book on declaring the speed limit of light and the relativity principle. Einstein even copies the terminologies and methods of synchronizing clocks. He also had the nerve to deny any awareness of the Michelson Morey experiment because he wants people to believe all this was done in his head. In general relativity he has also been accused of plagiarism by Hilbert. Einstein's field equations were nothing more than copied out formulas from Grossman with some adjustment with the help of Hilbert. He did not understand the essential ideas of the theory, even denying 4d spacetime which Minkowski tried to convince him for years (originally the idea came from Poincare). Levi-Civita and Grossman attempted to convince Einstein for years of covariance, which again shows Einstein was no great genius because it is a fundamental idea of general relstivity that all frames have equivalent laws. To make matters worse he even gets credit for the 'atomic bomb' and e=mc^2. He did not come up with either. The latter equation was already solved by many others including Poincare. Einstein wrote multiple papers on e=mc^2 and each time derived it incorrectly. Not to mention he was notoriously wrong about quantum mechanics, which is why he was mocked by Heinsenberg and Schrodinger. Einstein refused to credit others until much later and even then, vaguely so.

@@JL-fh4qw okay, you got me interested. So, i just want to say that many people contribute to a single theory, that's just how it works. The genius of Einstein was to absolutely abolish aether and therefore disagree with newton about his relativity principle. But if you are right about him believing in aether then what ever i know is probably wrong. All i could find is Einstein aether theory, which was based on general relativity but it was not even made by Einstein. So do you think you could help with resources about him believing in aether? Think about what you said for a moment. An alien civilization, travels thousands of light years, and of all the life in the universe, they decided to stop at earth around the late 1900's to share what exactly? And what do the aliens gain from this massive mission? Einstein was just a man. He obsessed about physics like you obsess about getting laid. Thats it. Its that simple. Einstein did have help. From people like newton and galileo and aristotle. Not from aliens.

Definitely a fan of her videos after the YT algorithm finally made a rare good recommendation. I like how she presents them as real people with actual character flaws but that makes them more human and relatable. They are almost always presented only as mavericks in their fields and with their achievements which makes many see them as perfect, virtuous people. It's a shame when you find out how the kind of person that they were outside if their work but it's also a reminder to admire the art, not the artist. Great work!

Yes, Einstein mastered calculus by age 14. What they didn't mention was that he taught himself calculus from books and did not learn it in school. He had a book on math that he called his "holy geometry book" that was especially influential to him that he read over and over before he began chipping away at calculus. Regular people learn something and are happy with what they know. Einstein learned and it propelled him to learn more and more, inspiring him to go deeper and deeper into nature's secrets. Also, I have studied Einstein's life for much of my adult life and I've never found a quote where he called himself an agnostic. He considered himself to be "deeply spiritual" (his words) and he believed in God, stating many times "I study physics because I want to know God's secrets" and "God does not play dice with the cosmos." However, he was not a fan of organized religion, and he did not believe in a "personal God," where you could pray about your problems to Him and God would solve them for you. Einstein believed God was the Supreme Being in charge and humans were here to work out their own destiny within the laws that God had laid down. His wife and step-daughter converted from Judaism to Roman Catholicism and Einstein stated, "Oh well, it's all the same to me."

@@FootyDoesForensics believed* At least learn how to spell before you start attacking religions. Einstein grew up in an environment of wars and struggled for world peace. People who grow around violence start to lose their faith on God because that is all they see. But why blame the almighty when humans are the ones in the wrong? Humans asked for freedom and God gave it to them. Now, we humans are the ones misusing this freedom and causing chaos. You reap what you sow. Why should God save you when you are wrong? He has, no doubt, helped many who have struggled and believed in him. Don't you dare crush all those hopes and beliefs with your petty evaluations. Being smart doesn't mean you get to say which religion is right. Being smart only deals with facts and what you cannot sense with your five senses. Religion goes beyond.

it was not his brain... it was his mind... he spent a lot of time in his head... he NEVER gave up on problems and continued to work on them over years and years... this inward dedication is what made the difference and is also available to anyone who puts in the work.... that is the thing, most people focus on the outside, their environment and the people around them, material treasures. If ALSO humans spent and equal time in their heads, cogitating various scientific ideas, studying them and building knowledge, a task most would not really enjoy given all the outward distractions and the need for power and wealth, they too could figure out things like Einstein and appear a genius...

It just occurred to me, that In times past, scientists were viewed almost as celebrities, their accomplishments becoming a cause for celebration, particularly in the aftermath or during times of war. I ask myself whether, in the absence of such conflicts, these exceptional minds would have exhibited the same fervor, striving to surpass and complement each other's works. I also wonder if contemporary society would still exalt them to the extent of gracing magazine covers, or showcase their work in the newspapers. I wonder if it's still like this today. The world seems to be lacking MAD scientists, physicists, theorists, etc. who are driving humanity forward at such a pace as back then. It is plausible that I may lack comprehensive insight into the present state of the scientific world, leading me to question whether my perception might be somewhat uninformed. Just a thought.

There was a recent story about are you as smart as a rocket scientist or a brain surgeon and the basic answer is yes. People that have great skill and knowledge in one area are most often just average in all others.
