I think it might be a good idea to put a new blade in your rotary cutter and to close it once finished cutting. I have seen some horrific incidents of cutters left open on table.

Very nice! 👏 One little advice - I notice you often have to cut the same line twice. A new or resharpened blade in the cutter works wonder 😉 plus a a selfhealing cutting mat that does not have deep holes.

For the left overs if you sewed two of them together it would make a new half square triangle the same size.
