Meditation is the best way to tune in with your psychic abilities. A very good way is to meditate on your core self. The core is a bundle of energy located in your astral body underneath your ribcage. You can put some relaxing music and meditate daily for 10 to 15 or 20 mins while focusing on that area or visualising light coming out of it. ( try to see if you can feel anything in that region of your body; a warmth, pulsation , expansion or spinning feeling ). Don't think to much and let any images that come flow trough your mind s eye. Try do disconnect a bit from your physical body and feel with the astral one that's on the inside. ( by doing this , if you reach a deeper meditative state you can also feel an energy field surrounding you.) Another exercise is to try to do a mental astral projection , you don't leave your body completely it's like projecting your your mental view somewhere. You can also try to see your aura this way or your astral body. Don't force yourself just relax quiet your mind and try to see if some colour appears into your mind. One way I can check if what I see is something that exists in the astral world is by trying to manipulate what I see , if I can it means it's a mostly if not entirely a piece of my imagination, if I can't then it's a vision I received from a place I've connected to , and its usually accompanied by a pressure/warmth around my head.
