Megatron is an extremely motivated guy. Every episode he's working on something new.

This was one of the saddest episodes for me. Seeing Omega lose his good friends, watching them destroy his city… and then the tears in his eyes at the end. Feels.

"Are you going to let it happen all over again. For something as useless as revenge." my favorite line from this episode as Prime stands up to a bot like Omega Supreme and talks some sense into him.

The affects the Robo Smasher had on Omega are fascinating. It took most, if not all, of Omega's Positive Emotions. Leaving Omega feeling only anger, hate, and vengeance. But he still retained a sense of Duty and through that loyalty to the Autobots.

You've got to love the fact that Optimus Prime simply used an impassioned speech to Omega Supreme, and Omega instantly had a change of heart. That's why he's a great leader.

Leave it to 1980s Hasbro to actually makes us smile over a colossus-sized Autobot letting go of his need for revenge and doing the right thing.

I always like how Prime will stand his ground and stare down opponents much bigger than himself. Truly had no fear.

Still hoping for an episode where Omega just strangles Devastator in front of everyone and just walks off.

I love how Prime just no scopes the Decepticons at the end. With one hand no less.

Omega Supreme looks exactly like a guardian robot except for the color and Prime is surprised to find out he was one 😂

Optimus: Wait, I though the Constructicons were created on Earth? Omega Supreme: If you think that's an inconsistency, you ain't seen nothing yet.

This was my favorite episode. Just 2 guys talking on a hill and omega being rightfully miserable that he lost his best friends to a jackass with delusions of grandeur

Possibility... Growing. Definitely one of the more memorable endings to any Transformers episode.

A great episode with Optimus Prime at his best. His speech to Omega is what we remember him best for. A leader who can stop a giant with his words.

The guy who voices Optimus Prime, has DONE VERY WELL FOR HIMSELF. His voice also was used in the Voltron stuff sounds like. He has been able to stay relevant to the paradigm shifts of the 80's and the 21st century.

It would of been great if Omega Supreme appeared in the 1986 Movie, and get his revenge against Devastator.

I learned of the passing of Jack Angel (Omega Supreme, as well as Astrotrain) only a couple of days ago. I guess because I was dealing with the loss of my mother that I didn't see anything. He voiced my favorite Autobot after Optimus Prime, and I'm talking of course about the star of this episode, Omega Supreme. To me, he sounded the least like Jack Angel's normal voice where I didn't realize it was him. May he rest in peace.

When I was a kid, Omega Supreme was the Andre the Giant of the Autobots. LOL!

I haven't seen this episode since the 80s when I was living in San Francisco! Thanks Omega Supreme for saving us from that creature!

Megatron's giant binoculars are hilarious

This episode was one of my favourites from season 2 mainly because it was one of the few times we ever saw a different side Omega Supreme who was normally very analytical in his phrases. It was cool to see for a portion of the episode set in flashback with him telling his story to Optimus Prime who straight up asked him what really happened with the Constructicons in Cybertron's past plus it was great to learn about Omega's backstory as we didn't know a lot about him. Loved these little spotlight episodes they did in Transformers as it really gave us a chance to spend more time with certain Autobots

So many good concepts in this episode. Constructicons created a great city, friends with Omega Supreme and the Robo Smasher!

😢the 80’s cartoons were perfection. There will never be another decade of such excellence, when it comes to that art form. Blessed to have been alive to see shows such as The Transformers during its inception.

The problem is, this episode is contrary to their debut, Megatron claimed to have built them on earth several episodes prior to this episode.

Funny thing about this episode is that those Constructicon alt modes ARE CYBERTRONIAN! They NEVER received Earth based vehicle modes further solidifying the fact they were merely rebuilt on Earth.

Loved this episode. Having a cartoon that went to the past was so Brilliant. As was the episode with Orion Pax who became Optimus Prime.

most times when i see people talk about this episode the focus is on Omega Supreme's wanting revenge on the Constructicons for Crystal City ((and/or how it's not their fault they got reprogrammed, so he's ''not aiming right'')) no one mentions he suffers processor trauma from Megatron's reprogramming device trying to get at him too

Aw nostalgia, sometimes it's great. Sometimes I wish I still had my Transformers, GI Joe and He-man toys just to look at and remember being a kid in the 80s drinking pop from glass bottles, listening to records and shooting bb guns.

"Can you talk like a normal Autobot?" So, this whole time Omega has been talking like an "abnormal" Autobot. Live and learn.

I like this episode. Omega basically goes all Dirty Harry on Devastator who is often seen as a big bully that stomps on everyone else because he is bigger. But in this ep we can see Omega as the bully now because he is stronger and fueled by hatred not duty to protect innocent lives that are relying on him to do do his freaking job of playing base defense. It's like if your hockey Goalie leaves his position to make it easy for the opposing team to get a free points because nobody is there to block anything. This episode shows the importance of being responsible and sticking to the main objective instead of a selfish personal agenda. I think Inferno also made that mistake in another episode which almost got Red Alert killed because he was eager to see action and so nobody defended. But in that episode it wasn't as dramatic because it was a small scale. (one dude at a computer terminal in that episode vs this episode where a whole planet is at stake)

This is one of my favorite episodes where Omega Supreme just unloaded on the Constructicons. He would have anhilated them if Prime hadn't stopped him.

I love how Megatron had to remind Astrotrain to head to the asteroid in shuttle mode. The idea that Astrotrain would have tried to get to far earth orbit dressed like the fuckin' Flying Scotsman, and wondering why it isn't working, is hilarious.

"What if we all just split up?" "Then he'd hunt us down one at a time." "Then I say we unite." This was one of the baddest episodes of the series. Had some of the most badass quotes and stories. I loved Omega Supreme the hunter.

I think there are two aspects to why Omega Supreme eventually didn't raise his hand against Optimus Prime. The easier one to tackle is that, Optimus Prime's track record against the most insane odds is just about as insane. If Optimus decided that the greater good meant Omega Supreme has to go down, Omega Supreme would go down. Omega Supreme must have seen it enough times in his time to realise that the odds could easily be in Optimus' favor if the two were to face off. The more complex one is that, I believe Omega Supreme is traumatized, more than anything. The Robo Smasher getting to him is irrelevant, but it might have something to do with his misguided fury towards the Constructicons. I believe it's just him not taking responsibility for leaving his post in the first place. And after that he's probably been insanely dutiful. Omega Supreme doesn't want to take his attitude out on his Autobot comrades and the way it manifests is the way he speaks. He looks emotionless but he's anything but. He wants to be a good guy, but for him, duty comes first. Except with the Constructicons. They can apparently send Omega Supreme to a traumatic frenzy. But Optimus knows his troops. He knows he needs to make Omega Supreme see he is about to leave his post AGAIN and the consequences would be disasterous AGAIN. Forget about the Constructicons. Forget about Crystal City. What's done is done, you learned from it. Now it's time to remember the lesson. Of course Omega Supreme isn't going to let that happen on his watch again. Moving on is hard but necessary. He still harbors his misguided hate of the Constructicons. He can't take back that one bad choice and it will probably eat him forever. He accepts that all he can do is choose better in the future. First of those choices was to let the Constructicons run and save Earth instead. Man I love talking and analyzing.
