Conversations like this make me think just how massive, ancient and mysterious our world really is. To unplug from the 1st world drama of the week and the left/right dichotomy which is constantly being shoved in our faces. To just take a moment in awe to realize how utterly insignificant any of it is. Is so refreshing.

Paul is a different kind of dude. He’s really in tune with nature and feels it in his cells. When I was young I felt in tune with nature and lost it. I had forgotten that feeling until listening to him. We need more people in the world like him.

Just walk in the woods. As soon as you get under the canopy of the trees it comes back. Then do it on a clear night, when the moon is bright.(hey I'm a poet and I didn't even know it)... Anyway, you can tap into it, it's accessible.

@@wavesofzen5383 I have no doubt that this guy has spent a lot of time in the jungle, but he tells some tall tales. Tapirs as big as cows. Some guy cutting open his forearm and implanting an electricity-generating nerve he got from some animal. Tall uncontacted natives with giant bows that are better than modern bows! Really? Are you sure they're not 5 foot 2 inch jungle people like in every other jungle in the rest of the world (Congo, Southeast Asia, Papua New Guinea) like every photo of them suggests?

@@poleag 🤣🤣🤣 have you ever watched Nat Geo or animal planet. So is every human the same size? Animal in? Was the 11ft electric eel. Btw giants live in the Amazon they were from an ancient tribe originating from the antarctic South America ice bridge. Till something catastrophic happened you can clearly see the damage in the ocean from satellite. The bows better be better otherwise they won't eat or defend against other tribes.
@poleag
@poleag Жыл бұрын
@@flinchus Maybe the arrows look like spears because the people are 5 foot tall? Look up the helicopter pictures of these so-called uncontacted tribes. The women are 4 foot tall. And no, giants don't live in the Amazon. If they were giants 100 generations ago, they would've already shrunk down because there aren't a ton of calories available on a jungle diet of lean fish, lean mammals, fruit, and roots.

Curiously, the guy forgot to mention that Colombia, too has quite a good chunk of the Amazon forest. If you go to the Colombian city of Leticia (capital of the Amazonas department), you can enter Brazil by just crossing the road you’re in. And if you get into a boat, by crossing the river you’re in Peru. Now, it must be said that whilst the walking can be done at anytime, the river crossing can only be done during the day, never at night as there’s way too much contraband going on. Nevertheless, it’s one incredible place to be.

Looking at satellite images shows insane amounts of "growth" and its scary for 2 reasons. One, we say the planet can hold more of us, but can it maintain itself. 2. Massive trees don't grow to that size from soil nutrients. If so, every tree would be in a hole. Trees are carbon, and they are grown by absorbing Carbon Dioxide. These massive ecosystems that turn into Coconut farms, are a serious target for climate activists. (Or should be) fuel is not number 1. However stepping away from fossil fuels is best sooner than later.
