Just tried this mod on a very cheap custom board with steel plate and plastic case. Worked like a charm, the difference is night and day, way poppier and louder overall. A few tips for anyone who wants to do this quickly with minimun effort: - Use a sheet of thin PE Foam, ideally less than 1mm. You can find them in many pc parts packaging. - Easiest way to make holes for the switch bottom housing is with a soldering iron, set it on low heat and just poke through like butter. - Another tip If you're lazy and dont wanna spend hours removing and reinstalling switches: If you own a cheap board like I do (which the plate hold on to the PCB purely by the friction of switch pins), just carefully separate the plate and the pcb while leaving the switches where they are (on the plate), put the PE foam on top of the pcb, tape the 4 corners to hold it in place, proceed to poke holes and cut out spots for stablizers. The last thing is just align everything and push the plate (with switches still on it) and the pcb together. I've done this many times and had no bent or broken pins so it's safe to say you can also do it with minimal risk. There you go, you just made a budget Jelly Epoch.

The easiest way to cut out the foam that I've found is to grab your plate, lay it on top of the foam, grab a fineliner or a small marker and trace around the plate + where the stabs are going to sit, then lift the plate off the foam and trace what you just drew with a scalpel, small knife or a pair of scissors. Hope this could help someone who might be struggling with it

Great guide! How would you say it affects sound when compared to the stock EVA switch foam on the Sun68? Also, while anti-static foam would work, it's actually recommended to use regular PE foam because anti-static foam is slightly conductive.
