I wonder what Yhwach's exact relation to the Soul King is, because Yhwach was born recently relative to the entire history of the Soul Society, which started with the sealing of the Soul King.

My theory on Yhwach. The Reio seperated his fear of death from himself in order to be a ideal saviour for the bleach world. Since Reio embodies the power to combat the fear of death Yhwach was defenceless baby with no connection to the world without his non working senses. Since the Reio didn't fear death he didn't care when the Tsunayashiro clan took advantage of him since the fear of death is what drives one for progress. Baby Yhwach would either end up dying or upon seperation he would become apart of the circulation of souls in the world. I theorize that Yhwach is Bleach's virgin birth since he is an evil Jesus anyways. Rumors spread of this miracle baby and he gains a cult following. Thus the Quincy are born.

Even though this episode adapts 4 chapters the pacing felt so good! That's a big plus for me. Plus I have stopped worrying about the changes from the manga as Kubo himself is writing and correcting the scripts. So, it makes this episode an easy 10/10 for me.

The addition of yhwach's mother is mind-blowing specially the blue colouring of her presence !!! Is she the essence of his power ?? We know that even though the soul king is the first Quincy he didn't bestow his soul upon people so he may take it from his mother ! I always thought that he was made from the soul king's powers like both hands

The Composoting,Lightness and Storyboarding where too cool in every places in the dark in the light in the Quincy blue light the lighting were amazing Also That Soul Society Truning Red Sky Camera Movement Was Amazing

Sometimes I want a Bleach ramake in the quality of the TYBW arc. Really love how faithful it is to the source material and the poems it adds to the ending of each episode.

When ichibei said more than shinigami, it technically meant more than most shinigami. This is because the Eos kenpachi and yamamoto are on another level.

What did Ichibei mean when he said surpassing the Shinigami? Does he mean getting to a transcendent level ? I remember a similar phrase Aizen said when he combined with the Hogyoku Ichibei also confirmed that the Gotei 13 had gotten weaker than what they used to be. Basically confirming the very first group of captains were on another level. It would be exciting to see more of them in some separate Arc 😍

An interesting thing i always regretted not happening in Bleach was having Yhwach have no name at the beginning of the series and him being Zangetsu (before anyone comes for my head just hear me out please) when Ichigo first meets "Zangetsu" (wich we now know is a Yhwach copy of sorts that originally came from the Quincy powers that live inside Ichigo and was subsequently born in Ichigo's soul due to him having an internal world since he was also a Shinigami) so the point i want to make goes all the way back to the first time Ichigo meets this "Zangetsu" and Ichigo can't hear his name (I know that an explanation for this already exists since its due to Ichigo not having synchronization with his Shinigami powers by then) but imo that would have payed out much better if it turned out to be that the real reason Ichigo couldn't hear Zangetsu's aka the Yhwach copy name was because he couldn't pronounce it due to Ichibei having taken his name from him at some point and that becoming the reason as for why the old man "Zangetsu" had to use a different name to introduce himself to Ichigo (remember this is all hypothetical and just something i would have preferred since sadly this can no longer happen) this wasn't how things actually turned out to be of course but i would have loved to see something from the early days of Bleach have a payoff back when the TYBW manga was released it would have been an amazing reveal and imo its a crime that it didn't go this way but then again maybe that's just me

unrelated to the topic, I dislike how both in the manga and the anime (cour 1) how ichigo found out about zangetsu/yhwach and never apologized to White, not even talk to him. I wanted to see some dialogue. I hope we still do in the next arc maybe but White is one of my favorites and I'm sure a lot agree, everyone, especially ichigo, owes him a lot lol

Ryuken also survived Yawach's Aswalden not just Uryu so they can't make Uryu the last surviving Human Quincy if Ryuken survived.

Nelliel could be Yhwach's mother. Nelliel was a normal human and not a quincy herself so hence how she was able to become a hollow and arrancar later on since yhwach is the first quincy.... but Nel has redimentary traits of quincies like reverting to a child like Yhwach and it's possible Cero Double could be a variation of blut vein and blut artery in her stomach after she swallows a cero , blut artery "doubles" the momentum..... and her last name is German or Germanic, the quincy motive unlike other arrancar who have spanish names ( Coyote Stark's name is English but that's cause he's maybe a natural arancar whatever ) Also Nelliel and Nnoitra were awakened by Rangiku's Soul King Fragment inside Aizen's Hogyoku . Rangiku;s Nail of the Soul King contained Yhwachs memories when he was a normal human.... probably relates to the soul societies original sin.
