There's no easy way to get here, it's double digit climbs however you look at it, but once you're up it is a ton of fun and you normally have it mostly to yourself. The narrow lanes and sense of being alone can catch you out so you have to pay attention. And when the going gets steep, it's real steep. Throw in a couple of jumps and this is my kinda fun!

I appreciate that, but when you do go hard, is there a plan, like intervals, cause you mentioned that you do not use a power meter before. Im just trying to learn.

I don't do structured training now that I don't compete. But I try to go hard on most rides I do which is good enough training. I try keep my average speed over 18 mph on climbing routes. I use the dirt for slower relaxed days. When I take the gravel bike out and don't worry about numbers or how many times I stop etc.
