When you hear CLICK instead of BOOM-- you're OUT- that is the ONLY true way to tell if it's empty during a battle. (and yes, I am an old retired RANGER)..

You are correct! I've been in so many gunfights on my computer I can tell when my gun is getting low without even looking at the screen. That's when I smash the R button and reload! Get some!

I was in the infantry for 4 years, I honestly couldn’t tell the difference between a loaded or an empty mag in my gun, until I heard a click.

Yes I’d imagine the bullets build up in weight eventually just because that’s how weight mostly works

Bradley Gunners were trained to pay attention to how many rounds because of the amount of reload time. So when you have a 9 round mag, counting isn’t a big deal.

My experience is the type who is really "badass" (as you yankees term) is the one who appears very placid and harmless. And who doesn't have a braggart type personality.

Agree... And that also, eerily, goes for Sociopaths, psychopaths, and Serial Killers...

@@user-cd7uf7to5m I refer to my brother. Only 5'1" and been in numerous fights and won, too many to number, even against much larger guys. Don't know why though. To me fighting is stupid and for idiots. He is so placid, when his wife first met him, she thought he was a wimp. And yeah, he's s bit psycho too. Seen him in one fight once, he nearly killed the guy. My mate had to drag him off the guy. But talking to him, he is very conversant and friendly.

@@glennrobinson7193 Well Glenn, that's awesome! But, if you don't mind me asking this--was your brother picked on when he was younger? If so, then he learned some kind of defensive technique like my husband did, and maybe even took wrestling for ground fighting techniques. My husband looked very young, even in high school, so after he was bullied enough, he just turned his fears around, and with some studying, did learn quickly about self defense... He took out dudes much bigger than he was, and woe betide those who underestimated him, because they soon learned a nasty lesson... But, I just thought I'd ask. I think you would've told me if he was military trained. Either way, I agree, fighting is scary and dangerous, but in certain circumstances I guess it's vital to know how to protect yourself and your family...

@@user-cd7uf7to5m My brother was picked on the very first day he started school. So that's how it all started. The people who lived next door to us, the father was 6'4 & his wife was 6'2. My dad was 5'7" & mum was 4'11". Their son was in same class at school as my bro,was a lot bigger than him and was a ringleader. He was always picking on my brother with all his school friends backing him up. My bro was picked on because of how small he was. One day after been bullied by the kid next door, my bro went running home crying and told dad, and dad told him next time he does that, hit him as hard as you can and don't stop hitting him. So thereon he always turned the tables on that kid, and other kids at school as well. When my brother left school he took on Rhee Tae Kwon Do and took it very seriously. The TKD school he trained at was very street orientated and had a very high ranking instructor. 6th Dan i think. He reckons at one stage he was training between 8 to 12hrs a day. He became extremely good at it. He wanted to be the next Bruce Lee. One time when he was around 18yrs old, he got in a fight with 2 bikers and put one of them in hospital. A typical scenario where the bully biker thought he would easily have it over my brother. He could sit down with you and talk to you for hours of all the fights he got in. I don't know if he was exaggerating, but he reckons he got in hundreds of fights when he was living in Newcastle, NSW Australia, which used to be very rough. Your husband sounds very similar to my brother. In my brother's case, I reckon it's something to do with the Scottish blood in us. My mum told me that her dad who was from Glasgow, was very small too, and when he was in the army got in quite a number of fights and always came out best. But like I say, when you'd talk to my bro, he seems like the nicest guy, seems harmless.. no tatts, not tough looking. And no, my bro was never in the army. Last I spoke to him (we are estranged now) a few yrs ago, when he was around 61, he was training 6 days per week in MMA, GJJ, and Kyushin Karate. And running every day. He has mellowed out somewhat from his earlier days, but still seems to take fighting quite seriously. I hope he hasn't met his match. I heard him joking once, saying, the day if he ever gets beaten up, it'll be someone smaller than him lol.
