I’ve been away from my home (Ireland) for 4 years, living in China. Clicking on this video and being greeted by that accent hit my heart string. I’m looking forward to seeing those green fields again soon.

Hey David, oh really no way. Absence makes the heart grow fonder as they say. Glad you enjoy the content though, lots more to come. Take it easy!

One of my greatest inner conflicts as a photographer. The creative urge to depict a motive as interestingly as possible VS the documentary urge to depict a motive as entirely as possible.

You mean the struggle between planning photo shoots and just exploring with a camera?

@@MacnTeensVisuals More the difference between only showing what's important to make an image more interesting and showing as much as possible out of fear of missing something.

After a lapse of a long time I'm watching your content and I feel equally attached to your photographic journey since I started watching them! Skill and creativity goes hand in hand with lots of hard work and clingy attitude with never ending passion for trying new things which most of the time fail to dejection! But skill grows as you practice and with growing skill you explore possibilities come to your head and these two aspects keep growing hand in hand! Taking pictures whatever attracts and picturing the point of attraction, transposing them (which compels you in the frame) to take the shot successfully to give them to prominence is the success of a photograph! Can you be able to get this effects without much effort, without much learning and trying continuously and assiduously?!

Hey! Thank you glad you enjoyed the photos and the video. Photography is definitely a long game but you just have to enjoy the learning process and be happy with the good shots you do manage to get.

Yeah I think that even traveling to a different city you've barely been in can improve you a LOT, shooting buildings you're not used to can be challenging (In the best way possible), but it's always fun to go to a completely new country and shoot pictures of buildings and people you've never seen before

Hey Noam! Yep totally agree, just mixing things up and doing photography in a new place really helps for both creativity and inspiration I find. Cheers for sharing your thoughts ✌

To me crativity always wins, like Ansel Adams famously said: "There is nothing worse than a sharp image of a fuzzy concept"
@MacnTeensVisuals
@MacnTeensVisuals Жыл бұрын
Haha I like that. It is very true indeed. Film has definitely helped me focus less on things like perfect sharpness and more on the image as a whole and the process of taking the image.

I think creativity comes first. Then comes `technicality' shall we say. Whose going to make the camera and lens for you? Those people are technically skilled and without them your creativity will never see the light of day. It's the same for most things. Things aren't either/or Rather they are almost always both/and. We need to stop dividing our nature against itself and join it together in unity. It's the same as small sensor vs large sensor. Why do they have to verse each other? How about we just enjoy the benefits of both? I don't think travel does make you more creative. It gives you the perspective for seeing that what you find boring, (your own backyard) others find exotic. But a creative person is a creative person whether they get the chance to travel or not. The non-creative person travels the world taking selfies so all you see is their face. The creative person will take amazing photos no matter where they are. Creativity comes first. Travels provides opportunity.

Hey Tony! You're definitely not wrong. I do think they go hand in hand. The reason people always use the versus thing I think is because they really just want to know what they should get, which camera they should buy etc which is just a bad way to look at things i think.

Hey just wondering, what are the lenses you have for your Fuji XT-30/XT-3?

Hey Ryan, I use the 18-55mm & 35mm F2. I also tried out a TTArtisan 23mm in a recent video 👍

@@MacnTeensVisuals do you notice a big difference in quality between the 18-55mm and the 35mm in quality? I’m debating between a second lens and looking at 35, 23 or possibly the Viltrox 13mm for a wide angle travel option. Will be primiarily used for travel, any recommendations?
@MacnTeensVisuals
@MacnTeensVisuals Жыл бұрын
@@ryanpersaud4266 I mean the 35mm is definitely sharper in the corners and probably a bit sharper overall. I'm not sure if you already have the 18-55mm but for travel that is the perfect focal range and is still a great lens. 13mm would be way to wide for me, I would definitely go with 23 or 35 if you want a prime.
@ryanpersaud4266

@@MacnTeensVisuals Thanks so much! Yep already have the 18-55mm, was just wondering if I should go with another prime that could handle low light for nights out
