Being able to sell is the most important skill in business.
I used to struggle with this skill. Earlier in my career when I started my first business, I had no idea what I was doing when it came to selling. And I quickly found out that if you don’t learn how to sell effectively, your business has no choice but to fail. It’s truly that important.
So I got to work and focused intently on building on my ability to persuade and write sales copy. The result? I was able to build multiple 7-figure businesses. An outcome I attribute mostly to refining my sales ability.
But I’ll be honest with you. Teaching myself sales was a long and hard process. However, after years of learning to improve my sales ability, I discovered that learning to sell doesn’t have to be difficult. In fact, if you reduce it to a few principles, you can learn sales in a fraction of the time it took me.
That’s why I decided to talk about sales in my recent podcast episode. In it, I reveal the 3 simple questions to ask yourself if you want to sell a lot more of your product/service. Concise! Clear! I am listening to this during a break today. It is a great companion to the Graham Cochran membership group I am part of! Thanks Graham. Once again, you are giving us an order of the steps to take. I understand all 3, and I am familiar with all three, but in past training with others steps were left out. I was unable to find a starting point. I'm not trying to speak against, other instructors. I'm sure people have experienced success with others, but for my style this training works for me.

I think he uses a dynamic vocal microphone like a SM-58 running into a digital audio interface.

This was an incredibly helpful video Graham! Thank you. I’ve known all of these steps for a long time when it comes to business, but you explained it in a way that really felt like it sunk in. I’ve had a course that I created a few years back, and I felt like it was a big flop. I think my biggest issue was focusing on my solution, vs what the problem I was solving was. I also wasn’t clear on my target person because I was afraid of making my course target too narrow. I’m planning to revamp my brand and course and will definitely be answering the questions here to help shape that rebrand! Thank you so much!

Question: how do you attract customers to help PREVENT a problem? My background as a PT certified in Geriatrics/Aging helps me prevent the issues I commonly see with getting older. But people don't usually want a fix until something is broken. So how do you sell the problem fix before the problem happens??
