tbh i noticed that when i got to plat i felt like I lost alot of my skill from g3, maybe its because Im still being introduced to higher level play and enemies who know what they are doing, if anyone has experienced this, I need some advice, though i feel that I am getting punished for alot more of my agressive plays.

Climbed from silver to plat this act. Putting a lot of time into watching high elo pros play, watching videos, and continuously warming up and practicing my aim helped me immensely. I just hit plat today and trying to get ahead of the game on how to better play. Diamond seems almost unreachable, but so did plat. Thanks for this video, I still feel like my mechanics need work which is the biggest thing that scares me about this rank. I’ve definitely upped my consistency, but I feel like I make a lot of mistakes still. Wishing you all luck, had to rant

Personally I played yoru and got to g3-plat1. My agressive plays were getting shut down but teams playing anti flash. At this level i Personally believe it is important to make a change to initiator and call plays bc in my experience a duelist without assistance is a death sentence higher elo. My mechanics def need working on, but playing teams where I cant move without getting one tapped is incredibly frustrating as a duelist with 0 backup/strat. I highly recommend playing sky or kayo

What has been helping rank up (plat 2 now but started Iron 1) since I can only play 1-2 comp games a day max is that after warming up playing 2 DM’s if I am “feeling” it I play duelist and if I am not I play sentinel. I also switched from vandal to phantom which has decreased the amount of super satisfactory shots but has increased my consistency a lot.

these tips are super helpful im on an 11 win streak and a big climb and not doing bad but these are def things i think about but need to apply ingame instead of shutting my brain off and trying to win aim duels

I came close to my rank after the reset so i am doing well even tho i am getting matched with ex dia, ascendants ;d (and my favorite phantom skin must be the reaver it feels as good as the oni but this is just my personal opinion)

I was d2 in E5:A3 and at the start of E6 I placed plat 1, now it’s A3 and I’m hardstuck plat 2, lose -25 on a loss and gain like +10 on a win. Plat really fkn sucks

I actually love your tips, but the problem with me is that consistency... it makes me frustraiting to the point where I keep loosing over and over again but just depends on the days where I play. I hit Diamond 1 around April which is actually make me happy and made my day because of incoming Intramurals that time and also I make new friends that who are Ascendants and Immortals, because of them I watch their playstyle and also learning communicating with one another into another level make me applying it to my playstyle, this is the reason why I ranked up winning streak of 9 games to Diamond 1, and after the Intramurals we actually got into 1st Runnerup. So the main problem is that after the happiest days turned into saddest days where my downfall again is back, beause of whiffs, tilting, the timing, or having bad lucks on games. Should I take a break? or keep pushing forward. Deranked from Diamond 1 to Plat 2 btw.

My mechanics are already good and my people say I should be diamond-ascendant because if my aim but my teammates are always peak platinums and my enemies always peak ascendant. I usually tofrag-secondfrag my teammates are also toxic most of the time but if my teammates are diamond then I have good Comms

I started at iron 3 and peaked dia 2. Idk what has changed with me but i cant hit diamond anymore. I try communicating but tokyo servers make it goddamn impossible to communicate because no one talks at all and sometimes i want some intel on where the enemy they died from were.

What do i do about the people who say I over communicate, and may get angry at me for saying something they might already have known. It really discourages me to speak during my ranked games when someone tells me to "stop talking".

legit is stuck in this rank since beta due to never giving enough fucks about the game to rank up and it's all down to garbage teammates each time I lock duelist I get called a "smurf" until they see my career rank and see my peak is p3 but constantly match MVP and still lose with teammates that don't even reach double digits somehow but have the biggest ego/mouth this game is just truly not mechanically demanding enough to hard carry 3 dead weights when solo queueing

Right now I am Gold 3, and idk why but I always get match mvp in ascendant/dia lobbies(5stack with my friends) where I feel easy to play and also I mostly get plat/dia players as a gold 3 player since my mechanics are extremely good and my mmr is very high and also be the match mvp there but still I lose many matches... Even I reached gold 3 95 rr but I still lost(because of bad teammates and good opponents) and now I am gold 3 25 rr. Can anyone plz adivse me cause its really frustrating when I get 30-35 kills in almost everymatch but still gets punished for useless teammates

I literally got plat today and thats by just hitting double digits every game I plat I have lost every ranked game but 2 and I am plat it shows that it can be easy and I only play comp like 3 times a week all the other times I am in a practice or in swiftplay or deathmatch just getting better at the game but yeah if you have a good mind set valorant is a very easy and fun game and COMMUNICATION IS KEY!

Sometimes I watch videos like this and I wonder what's the point coz the people who need to learn this stuff don't seem to bother learning it. Like the number's rules. I typically play in high plat/mid diamond lobbies and even there I still have idiots who isolate themselves trying to get kills. Then I have to clutch the 1v1 or 1v2 and then they say it doesn't matter we won the round. Really bro? That's not the point. The point is you put your teammates in a position to lose and then they blame me if I don't pull off the clutch
