I feel that you need some positive comments on your channel instead of the barrage of negatives that people seem to be leaving for you. You're doing just fine, keep it up. You're information is good and undoubtedly valuable to many. I do want to share that cropping, while a very useful tool, does have some negatives. One of which has to do with exposure. Depending on your metering, and how attuned you are to adjusting your exposure when shooting, the image is likely going to be exposed great for the entire image, but if you crop in too far on a particular part, you may find that the exposure doesn't work for that section. This can certainly be accounted for in shooting, if you plan to crop, as long as you are using the right mode on the camera. Many years ago, when working at a camera store, I did a test with a couple of the point and shoot cameras. I wanted to show whether it was better to shoot high megapixel and crop or shot a lower megapixel camera that had more zoom. The more zoom won out, not only for exposure, but also for final pixel count.

Wait, did you just really make a video that says "The SECRET to Extending Your Camera's REACH" is to either buy a different camera, or buy longer focal length lens?!

What can you do for your circled pupils ? Your eyes look like robots eyes. Is it a camera extension too ?

I liked your style and demeanor in the video but have some improvent feedback if you are interested. When the title promises secrets, it's a shame to only be given two very obvious approaches beyond cropping. This way it becomes click bait (at least to me). I was hoping for something a bit more unusual or a new approach I hadn't heard of before. Nevertheless, best of luck with your channel!

Then give us the lens for the amount of money we can afford. 16000$ lenses can't even get exactly what you needed

As I mentioned in the video, I use my Sigma 100-400mm for landscape photography to help me achieve the results that I want. For wildlife or sports photography, using a 400mm or 600mm (costing less than $1,000 in most cases USD) can give you great results! If that is out of your budget, using the 100-400mm (around $600) and really learning how to use it in the environment you are shooting will step up the results you can get. No need for a $16,000 lens when you’re starting out. Learn the gear that you have and THEN think about upgrading:)

And you try to claim that the golden spot isn't 450-500mm away. Or the wildlife you encounter. Sometimes the optical illusion of the bigger moon, is a tiny crop better than the uncropped shot.

Hi Jalen, fresh and interesting presentation BUT PLEASE take a breath when speaking. You are racing and talking just a bit too fast without pausing. Pauses allow the listener to catch up. The effect, from a listening point of view, is the information being given cannot be enjoyably consumed. I have subscribed to your channel today knowing that you will find your way to presenting an excellent channel in no time. Good luck.

@@crustymister Hi! Thank you for watching and I appreciate your feedback:) I understand what you are saying and I will take it to heart! The reason I’ve chosen to leave breaths out when editing is because I feel like they sound somewhat unprofessional😅 However, I do agree that having pauses can make it easier to digest the content you’re watching. I do think that my most recent video is better paced and easier to understand. Thanks again!
