From my $2,000 2017 Rebel 300, to my $2,500 2021 Rebel 300, to my $2,000 2006 VFR800, I just seem to have a way with finding CRAZY deals on my bikes...and you guys are always asking how I do it! So I finally took the time to break down EXACTLY what I do to find the best deals on my used motorcycles!

I found a great deal on a low mileage Honda Gold Wing G1500 on Facebook. Old timer was downsizing his stable of bikes. He actually mislabeled the listing so it wouldn’t pop up if you searched for local Gold Wings. I was the only guy to reach out to him after a few days. Was a cool dude and actually offered to drop it off. He kind of wanted one last ride on the bike before he sold it. My advice is to check the listings daily. To see if anything catches your eye.

Be patient, keep searching, and I have faith you’ll find a good deal! I almost lost hope when I was looking for my 500 and then I found one for only $3,500…in my neighborhood! 😳

Jon's moto garage had a series were he started with 2 Grand and was buying bikes to flip make a profit and eventually buy dream bike. You should try this series would be fun to watch also a great way to get tons of different bikes to have on the channel for a while

Yea I watched that! Unfortunately with the crazy post-covid world, deals are harder to come by so it would make the process take way long. I do plan on buying more bikes, riding and making videos, and then selling to get another. But it won’t be like a trade up type thing necessarily. BUT I may have yet another bike joining the fleet this week if I can get to it in time 👀

These are the ways to find a good deal and minimize how much you end up investing on a bike for sure. BUT, your numbers are a little bit on the exaggerated side because as you mentioned there are costs like your $240 rental, state taxes, and of course I bet you spent some money on upgrades and mods at times. The way I look at it is that I have been able to get bikes for 30 years and I never LOSE money so long as I use your tips to buy low. That's a win for us bikers with a problem motorcyle habit for sure.

It’s worth investing in a bike carrier for a car hitch if you like flipping bikes. We’ve ordered and installed them for several of my customers. No need to rent a truck or trailer again. Not just for purchasing, but it’s handy in case you need to haul it to a shop if it’s not drivable for some reason.

My wife abused a dealership sales guy on a used CTX700 last month. Took him from a 6k sticker price to 4800 (CAD) and still walked away! Wandered into another one and grabbed the same bike for 4K out the door! I’ve never seen anybody take it to a dealership like she did. Twice.

I got the new speed triple RS 1200 for 15.9 otd the suggested sales price is 18.5 then add dealer fees and tax typically comes to about 21 I got a deal for sure

Looks like that 300 was out of the 100 mile limit FB seems to allow for a search. Do you have separate alerts for various geographical areas? Or have I just not figured out how to expand that mileage threshold (not that I would want to travel that far, but if you’re ride was over 3hrs to PA, I’m guessing that was 100+ miles) 🍻🙏👏✊🏻

Once you scroll to the bottom of search results there should be a section of “results from outside your search area” where they show you other options. Come to think of it, I can’t remember if that’s how I found the 300, just by looking through that section, or if somehow I got notified for it 🤔 I believe you can set notifications for different geographical areas though because all of my saved searches show “Annapolis 100 miles”. So maybe if you do another search location, save it as a saved search, and then go back to your normal location for typical searches, you’ll still get notified for the other location…if that made sense 😂

Rebel 1100 all the way! The 500 likely won’t have the power/size you’re looking for in my opinion.

@@mrbiglipsful CB500F’s are sick! I almost bought one too. I saw someone do a build where they pretty much turned it into a dirt bike and I’ve wanted one ever since 😂
