I've been trying shurelya first to have a quick powerspike and be able to roam early in the game, and have gotten pretty good results with it (currently on a 10 games winstreak). The point is that it's already a cost-efficient item, and since there is very little magic pen this season you might as well want cheaper/utility powerspikes.

Dark harvest, resolve secondary with shield bash and the one that makes you take less DMG for three hits. Start with tear but build shadow flame. Then finish the tear item and go banshee or zonya after that build what is needed. It surprised me, it will surprise you.

Hi Dun, i was about to comment about few days ago, but since the start of the season i go with Lich Bane rush followed by Stormrazor and Shadowflame. After the strom nerf i just get shadow second and rab or void staff 3rd. I sometimes go for cosmic drive as its great for chasing and general positioning. My fav runes is Aery with mana and secondary presence of mind and the other rune to deal more dmg on low hp enemies. You may try electrocute, worsk pretty well too with mana band and the scaling AP rune

Shadowflame is actually a hella bait item, the dmg output is seemingly good when you test it on the dummies in training but in reality most of the time you attack someone their HP isnt that low for it to have value. From my experience so far first tear if needed for lane, then Ludens, finish Seraphs and just itemize after or go rabadon if really ahead. Easily the best build which most top 100 Vik players now go for (most of them skip shadowflame) Also heard horizon was to be buffed - not sure how but that might finally be a good item for Vik now, especially since you can proc it even with Q1
