I honestly never thought of a reason to warrant buying a drone until I watched this video. I always thought they were cool but I could never think of a reason to buy one, now I have a reason to buy one.

That's some great information Tim! Yes, I do plan on getting a drone someday. I have a cheap one, but it's HUGE!!! The original cost was only $250 USD, however, I only paid $10 on clearance at Walmart.. Yes it was ONLY $10. Bought 3 of them, but I have never even tried it out. Gave one to me Son and Grandson, and they seemed to work OK I was told.

Great video Tim, I purchased a drone last year specifically for my landscaping business with thoughts of usung it for railfanning as well. Im a newbie to the drone world and used it a couple of times, however its just been sitting now. I picked it up from walmart and i need to do some research to make sure i can fly it legally 🤷‍♂️😅 Thanks for sharing. Have a good day and stay safe. Happy modeling!! - Jason

That’s awesome! You e got to get back into it. (My guess is that if you got it from Walmart, it’s under the weight limit. I don’t think they sell the higher-than-hobby level drones at Walmart)

@TheyMakeItLikeThat yeah definitely will be getting into it more this year. Still need to learn some more about it, however I have the general understanding of how it works. Really good for my business as far as taking pics and vid from the air. My model is Sky Flow 4K drone DRC448 and weighs about 6oz. I have to look into the weight limit for the US, but I think I'm good🤟🤙😎

Wow, this is cool! I had actually been looking at buying this same drone because of the low cost and not needing a license as a way to get started with drones and see if it is something I want to do more with and all of that. I was doing roof tops on my current project and using google maps, but thinking how it would be nice to get close up photos of roof tops to print and use on structures without "google" watermarks on them. lol

Drones are fantastic. Had a DJI Phantom 3 pro and the pictures were incredible and I no longer have to worry about the weight because I was doing a nice shot of my harbor and I got a really good close up of the water. The end. It probably doesn’t weigh that much when it’s in the water, right?

I'm new to your channel - yes, I subscribed - and I enjoyed this video. I have a camera drone from 2010. I've kept it for sentimental reasons, not usability. It's a helicopter style, that spent more time plunging to the ground than in the air. I trust this quadcopter is less prone to Kamikaze attacks, yes?
