In 2006 a girl on my bus in HS raved to me about this band Radiohead that I’d never heard. She made me a mix CD the next day (I was far too dense to understand she might have been into me) but that CD changed my musical outlook to the point nearly 20 years on I’m still digging through the textures and sounds they made.

Please Please check out the Boss IR-2 in a video. I'd love to hear what you make of the Bassman and Twin modes, and their application in more Alt-Rock/Shoegaze.

I have the Boss SD-1, Boss BD-2, and the Boss OD-3. The Sd-1 gets that sound, and honestly, is so cheap ( especially used) that everyone should have one. It stacks really nicely with the BD-2 and the OD-3 (which Jonny also uses). Personally, I prefer the BD-2 over the OD-3 for a more "transparent" sound.I know you love the BD-2 also.

I had a feeling there was a Freeze involved. Got to remedy this. He is amazing with his foot work, let alone his hands and ferocity. I can’t think of another player who bashes that hard. It’s infectious and explains that brace he wore for years.

how did you route the freeze to the delay to get that orchestral swell at 2:10? is the pog involved in that sound? great video!!!! ❤️❤️❤️

thanks! swell/freeze effect from the super ego+, pico pog is in the effects loop i.e. you only hear pog when i engage super ego+ swells / it is incorporated into the swells making this lovely sound ✨💗

under loved standard bit of kit really. it's nothing special when using in just mono or stereo, but those five outputs are unlike anything else! a lot of modern looper & delays are now available with more features & so this is one of those that goes under appreciated. one of my favourites though!
