Great to see six new videos. I am playing catch up after being down in Bainbridge for the last 2 weeks.

I don’t know. We had to postpone harvest today. Looks like Monday will tell the tale.

Ive tried every input but what ive found is daylight is the key. Every week past may 1st ill lose 10 bushel an acre.

I planted first week of May last year (the beans in this video). I was first to plant (by at least a month) around here. It’s not uncommon to see soybeans planted the last week of June here. What group bean do you plant. These were a group 5, I’m planting group 4 this year. 7 and 8 are typical here.

Im not a row crop farmer . I only plant 10 acres of soybeans every year they are a group 4 pioneer bean. I use them for rotation of my sweetcorn.@@PatrickShivers

Thing about those 200 acre bushel beans I bet they spent a lot of money to get those numbers.

There is a lot of discussion as to how profitable (or if at all) the 170-210 bushel beans are. They are being done on 3 acre plots, not 100 acre fields.

@@PatrickShivers could you imagine how many dollars would be in 100 acre field of those?

Those are some nice looking beans, we are just getting started in Ohio.

@@ihpowr most of the beans in my area are harvested in late October to early November. I planted May 5, most other farmers around here plant them in June.
