This movie has so many real connotations. So many events take place in a war and then there is that 1 thing that you must do at that very moment or you will spend the rest of your life wishing you had. I loved this movie. Some atrocities must be avenged.

My dad had a whistle only he could/would do when we were growing up, any store we were in, as soon as we heard that whistle means meet at the entrance it's time to go. Good system, we never got lost and he didn't have to come looking.😂

This trailer is 10 out 10. Makes you want to watch the movie. Idc how it ends if he is that guy and confessed after days of torture or he its not him and they kill him anyways.

(SPOILER) I thought that were would be a tricky ending in this story but the only thing that happened is that they tortured and killed a ordinary German soldier without a high rank 10 years after the World War 2 on American ground. They become the one who once haunted then in that moment !?.

Thank you. I was looking for this comment. That's exactly what the trailer looks like. Personally, I don't understand why viewers don't think it's disrespectful to just recreate cheap, non-sensical movies based on people's real stories that would deserve to be told in a great movie just to capitalize on other people's suffering.

Plagiarism! This film is essentially the same story, nearly beat for beat as Death and the Maiden, and they are not crediting this fact. Death and the Maiden is a celebrated play, written by the great Ariel Dorfman. It was later made into a movie by Director Roman Polanski, staring Sigourney Weaver and Ben Kingsley

And?? Its not like this doesnt happen everyday, especially with music! Music "artists" copy other musicians/songs more than they make something of their own these days & nobody seems to care or say anything & it happens all the time with movies, TV shows & games as well & in the case of this movie is it that big of a deal when for one, Im a huge movie/TV fan & I definitely never would've seen that play, let alone that movie so maybe its a good thing (for myself & many others) as at least now I get to see this story whereas I would have missed out otherwise, plus, Im sure this is a much better version & I honestly cant stand to even look at Sigourney Weaver in any role other than Aliens as she sadly has that "only acceptable in the 1980's & before" ugliness/look.

Music is surprisingly well regulated, with regards to copy-write laws. Don’t misunderstand me, this seems like a decent remake/retelling of the story,. The trailer was soooo similar, I immediately went to the IMDB page. The top comment, which is from someone who watched a press screening, confirms it’s a beat for beat remake. It’s the lack of credit that’s the issue. I’m certain it wouldn’t have cost much to give them some credit, and it might have even elevated the status of the release.

It's all right, but i would suggest watching DEATH AND THE MAIDEN instead, a much better film and the original source material for this.

We can always count on Hollywood to offer such a ray of light in troubled times... sad no one ever. Seriously, we got it already. It has been 80 years now. What's next? Another movie showing us how slavery was bad?
