In the exciting rush of professional face painting, there’s a real risk of losing ourselves along the way. This last installment of the ‘ABC’S of Professional Face Painting’ zeroes in on the personal core beneath the art, business, and community: our individual selves. I’ve learned from personal experience that tailoring our practice to accommodate our likes and dislikes, our strengths and weaknesses-all the qualities that make us who we are-is one of the most critical (and most easily forgotten) aspects of building a successful, sustainable, joyful life as a face painter.
