Oh yeah, going even deeper sounds awesome! Although how would it work? Where on the planet would it even be? How is it related to how below zero ended! Also there should be a lot of open space, not just tight caves. Hope the devs will make something really unique while keeping core mechanics and vibes of previos games

@@kovexplay I'm kind of in the mind of thinking that the below zero ending may or may not be followed by a "Subnautica" game. The environment doesn't really seem suitable for it. If another game is to take place on 4546b, this is what I want from it. Maybe they could tie it in with the story by having you piece together signals sent across space by Alan and Robin to triangulate the source location and (considering what's known about the future of Kharaa) organize a rescue mission. Or in corporate Alterra's case, learn from and exploit architect technology for profit. I'm kind of working this out as I go, but lets say the architects set up these communication spires across the planet, and chose this location because its home to some underwater peaks and ridges as close to the surface as it gets out in the void. Say Alterra set up bases at each one, and has been working out the last bits of translation or compatibility when this base, afloat on the surface, gets attacked by a massive leviathan returning from the deep sea to raise its young or something. The habitat module the player is in is thrown free in the attack, sinking to the sea floor, badly damaged, but livable enough for the time being. Maybe it gets stuck sideways halfway up one of the massive trees that provide cover and protection from the massive leviathans above. In the end, your left alone to survive down there, tasked with finishing the work your team started and figuring out a way to get off the planet. New features include a submarine big enough to travel the open spaces between the peaks and base attacks. I think it'd be cool if the big sub was for the most part safe from the leviathans, but there were some things scattered about the sea floor in the valleys that require you to leave that safety at times. I need to stop talking, because now I'll be sad if this game never exists.

For Subnautica a little bigger is ideal For SN3 if it allows a massive armored nuclear battle submarine is a must, Though i really entirely agree with you

Same, I don’t know how I feel about character customization. I like how it is now, where you play as a singular character and you learn about this character and you get close to them.

I'd hate if subnautica 3 would just be more of the same. Below zero was pretty underwhelming in a lot of ways and i feel its good that they are trying to step up their game

That’d have ti be set in the void, or need to be found and repaired instead of built because imagine the sheer amount of titanium required, hours of grinding. Plus imagine piloting it. It have to be a few locations like the vehicle homes in FO4. Few premade destinations, then you can take smaller vehicles to places.

Below zero takes place before subnautica and they have lots of research stations. Between the time of below zero and the original game they would’ve learned even more

@@angryboi801yes it does. Remember below zero takes place on the opposite side of 4546B? The gun can’t reach to the complete opposite side of the planet, also, compared to the alterra ship, robins life pod is tiny so the gun might’ve just not registered it

@@McNugget555 Below Zero takes place an entire year, at least, after the original and that would be a crappy defence system if it can’t stop someone from landing on the other side of a quarantined planet…

that would make sense, its like a scout leviathan and i think it would like scan the creature for caraa with the big lamps/eyes/scanners, and also behaviorel patterns, like if would be aggressive or like reefback and just mind its buisness, it looks like much of the design comes from the ghost leviathan wich would emply that it would be around the void ish area
