The Serbian uprising in Banat [1594]

On 27 April, the Ottomans had the relics of Saint Sava publicly incinerated on a pyre on the Vračar plateau.
The site where Saint Sava's relics were burnt, the Vračar plateau, became the new grounds of the National Library of Serbia and the Church of Saint Sava dedicated to the saint. The Church is one of the largest church buildings in the world. From its location, it dominates Belgrade's cityscape, and has become a national symbol.
The size of the uprising is illustrated in a Serbian epic poem: "The whole land has rebelled, six hundred villages arose, everybody pointed his gun against the emperor"

Serbian rebels fought under flag of Saint Sava. Sinan pasha ordered his troops to bring green flag of Muhammad from Syria to oppose Serbs. When uprising was crushed, Turks burnd bones of Saint Sava in Belgrade 1594, thinking that will destroy moral of Serbian people, but they were wrong. Today, in same spot , Serbs built cathedral of Saint Sava, the greatest orthodox temple in the world.

Nobody is brainwashed by any propaganda, it's the truth, victims, atrocities and many other horrible things like example "blood tax" u performed by taking Christian children and training them to became "janissaries" later to kill and burn their own people, villages, property basically, family, parents.... And because of all that, we will never forget what u did to us, nor we will forgive u. Nobody is brainwashed, people are beginning to hear true truth. Not the truth comunnist, fascist and other evil people of destructive and genocidal thoughts and actions served for actually and literally brainwashed people. But this is hard for u to u understand ;)

@@kafaerlik5392 We gave you peace by colonizing, enslaving, and subjugating your lands. There is a reason why Bulgaria and Greece expelled their Turkish population after independence. Also the fact you bring up Armenia when most of said country’s land was ethnically cleansed by Turks is hilarious.
