I’ve known a lot of people caught in the oroboros loop of self-perpetuated misery who have literally told me my happiness annoyed them, told me I need to come in to work sadder or at least pretend to be that way. People who actively went out of their way to gaslight me or berate me or try to embarrass me in front of other people to try and see if they can get a rise out of me. Sad to say I’ve let it get to me before but I’m above it now that I realize they just can’t help themselves. Leeches didn’t choose to be leeches That’s what black holes do, they suck in light itself. So if you push other peoples’ buttons for fun, I immediately assume you’re a miserable black hole of a person and just tune you out. You should be better but you’re not so why would I waste my energy on you
