9 ай бұрынWelcome to the 7th episode of a series, where we travel around official photo spots of the Grand Tour of Switzerland. In this episode, we will visit beautiful mountain range Churfirsten above the Lake Walen.

This episode was missing for a while in the series, as I booked the position 7 in the series for the Seven Mountains episode. And it took way longer to film it and produce it. I visited the area numerous times and still would like to return again.
Grand Tour of Switzerland is the best alpine road trip in the world, which will take you on a 1600 km long scenic road, from lakes surrounded by palms, across amazing mountain passes, glaciers to rustic mountain villages. You will visit the most beautiful places in Switzerland. There are officially 60+ photo spots along the trip, marked with an iconic stand.

Thanks, my friend! ✨ Really glad that you liked it 😀 It was not perfectly aligned, but close... The shots were separated by 6 months, so I did not remember it well... Next time I should download the shot on the phone to check it, or even better - use the waypoints feature and grab exactly the same shot.

Thanks so much, Ted 🥰 I am really glad that you like them! ✨ And now the biggest secret, some of the shots were filmed on Auto mode 😀 👍🏻 It's the beautiful area, roughly one hour drive from our home... The hardest part was to not include all other shots I've collected over many trips... Thanks so much! ✨ 😀 I would like to return to the place again as I have one shot in my mind - flying FPV along those cliffs and do the proper dive. And if possible follow the path of base jumpers through the Crack gorge. But I need to practice more and ideally need one or two spotters around as it's really popular paragliding and base jump area... With many greetings! 🙋🏻♂️

Thanks so much, Urška, for your kind words! ✨ There are so many beautiful areas in Switzerland, that it is hard to keep up with all of them, isn't it? For me it was really special as I finally had a chance to meet in person Matias, who composed the music used in many of my videos. They went on a trip in Europe this autumn with their campervan and make a stop in Switzerland as well. So when I thought where to bring him, the choice was clear as I planned to use his Valens song for Churfisten video for a longer time already. Thank you so much, Bojan, for your encouraging words! ✨ It took way longer to produce this video, but I'm happy that I did not rush it and really took the shots I wanted. Fortunately this beautiful mountain range is only hour of drive from our home... For me the special part was the hike there together with Matias, who is the composer of the songs I commonly use, including the one on this video. And name of the song 'Valen' is quite matching to 'Walen' lake, isn't it? 😀 This Saturday morning I woke up at 5:30 and drove to the Walensee and Churfisten once more. Based on the weather forecast it was predicted that it will be 3 hours of sunshine, so it was the last chance to collect few shots before two weeks of rain... Plus as a bonus I also took few shots of Säntis mountain, which will be topic of one of the next videos. Thanks so much for all your support, my friend! ✨ With many greetings! 🙋🏻♂️
