Sunday is the first day. The LORD'S Day is the day of judgment. The apostles did not change the sabbath. Nobody has the authority to do that.

The Sabbath being the 7th day depends on which day is designated as the first day.

I believe you're mixing The Covenant of Promise and The Covenant from Horeb/Book of the Law Covenant together. Yes, The Covenant from Horeb does include “The Eternal Law” (Exodus 31:18), but The Covenant from Horeb is The Law contained in ordinances known as The Book of the Law. It was The Book of the Law that was nailed to the cross, but The Eternal Law will be in place until heaven and earth pass away (Matthew 5:18). Since the Sabbath is a part of "The Eternal Covenant Law" (Exodus 31:18 - Deuteronomy 5:22), and since The Eternal Law will not pass away until heaven and earth pass away (Matthew 5;18), then the Father's Sabbath is to be honored and set apart for the Father's purpose by all who are in covenant with the Father through the Son.
