I needed this years ago I have struggled & since I have been listening to the teaching and therapy, I have have been in surgery internally

Verse 3 followed by verse 7 can hit at any age. At the age of 5 I told Jesus I wanted to be like Him. The summer after that was when my great grandfather sexually molested me. I came to understand that was the devil saying, “no, I can’t let her grow up to be what He wants her to be.” But I’m becoming that anyway, praise God! It’s been rough. That experience was the foundation for much hurt which came into my life in later years. But God.....but God used it all for His purpose. Why? Because Jesus heard my prayer when I was 5, and because He loves me and I love Him.
