Yoooooo, The Shade *and* Eclipso for season 2?. In his purely villains days (Richard Swift has has habit of jumping between Anti Villain and Anti Hero, although this last decade in comics he's been firmly an Anti Hero) The Shade has taken on the entire JLA without too much trouble and Eclipso used to be The Wrath of God itself before The Specter took the role (Fun fact, Eclipso canonically was the one responsible for The Great Flood and later becomes the ruler of a South American nation, spreading poison disguised as drugs and slaughtering countless innocents, massacring most of the children and cooking one child as a main course). *Both* of these characters can count themselves among the heavy hitters in the comics, so to see them in action on the screen will be incredible. On the other hand, part of me thinks its a bit *too steep* a climb as enemies for a our teen heroes. I would have been perfectly content with *only* The Shade (he's easily more than enough) or only Eclipso, but both as villains is going to be a bit too much unless they nerf them both. (Hell, Eclipso realistically would be to much for *any* Arrowverse team right now without a incredibly powerful magic user at thier side)

Really hoping that Shade is more akin to his comicbook form, his appearances in the animated series seriously underutilized him.

I would’ve liked this reveal more if they didn’t reveal Shade was a member of the ISA early on, and had revealed him in this episode, like when they zoomed into the picture we finally saw him.

Man the JSA is screwed next season. Eclipso is arguably their most powerful villain and killed Yolanda and Beth in the comics.

Cindy will die next season or she'll be married to Eclipso. She'll be tricked by an enemy fron her past Marcus Destler aka Phantom of Fear when he made a deal with Eclipso if Eclipso were to leave the cosmos then he'd give Cindy to Eclipso. Also she'd be stripped of her powers so she won't be able to escape and she'd be the wife of Eclipso.

So is the Shade going to be good or bad in season 2?
