If I recall, they mention in a Zoom meeting that in one of the scenes, Amita had her toes in a fire because she was cold during filming and she said "I was born in the flames" and the director liked that so he kept it.

I'm not sure but "stitch someone up" means basically the same as setting someone up (e.g. plotting to make someone look guilty of something he did not do). Here, they made Ben look like he has ego (by naming movies he starred in as his favorite) when in fact he doesn't (because he says later on that his favorite movie is Back to the Future). Hence why he loses it and laughs when Freddy says "it's Jackie and Ryan, starring Ben Barnes"
