Thanks for posting your function of people just enjoying themselves and having a good time. I remembered when I was a young man back in the 70's going to house parties, clubs and cabarets this is what we would do and it was fun. Today young young people don't know about having fun at a party especially a young blacks. I don't see young black men dancing with females anymore like you see here. When I do see them dance it's just guys or girls standing all to themselves. Once again thanks for the posting and people stop comparing one anothet to Chicago or Houston or whoever else just enjoy the video why do we have to tear each other down.

This is another subject. Donald Trump.is tryings to get rid of Social security and Adorable Care. If they don't keep aforableCsre. A lot of hospital will close. And if you don't have insurance. You cannot go to a doctor or hospital .by you being unable to pay.they will turn you down. Then you can always have the money 💰. Donald Trump is trying to cut out insurances and Social security. We can hardly make it now with what we get.but to get nothing. Think about it. You will loose just about everything a person have. Donald Trump is trying to destroy the US in my opinion.He want to move to Russia. My thought.you need to know.

@@evelynbjamesjames9214 I agree. Encourage everyone you know to vote. Once Russia use Trump, they will have no other purpose for him. Sit back and watch Trump and his family gonna crumble. Melanie and Barrin will have their stick of $$$ set aside because she knows Trump and kids goin down. He has done much wrong all his life so its jus time. He gonna wish he never ran for President because this is how his downfall will happen. But, he has and will continue to ripe the country off as long as he is in the White House. Dont be surprise when you find out how many billions he and his clowns were able to snag while POTUS. Our great great grandchildren will be paying the $$$$$ Trumpeters were able to get. #VoteVoteVote.

Lots of people from Chicago are leaving and moving to cities in Texas, Georgia and Florida taking Chicago culture along with them. I'm pretty sure this is Chicago stepping that was brought to Houston by former Chicago residents.
@countesslove17523 жыл бұрын
Malcolm Jones Taylor...lol, We have been doing this long before Chicago came along. I remember when doing this at a skating ring in Houston in the early 70s and that was because I was allowed to go to social gatherings back then. I’m sure it was happening in Houston way before the 70s.
@malcolmjonestaylor5413 жыл бұрын
@@countesslove1752 Chicago-Style Stepping, affectionately known as steppin, like most social dances, evolved from the "Bop" in the 1970s. In 1973 Sam Chatman was the first to coin the term "Chicago Step", and has been widely credited with marking steppin's evolutionary transition from Bop. The swing dance known as Steppin' is a part of the Western Swing family. The parent dance "Chicago Bop" may have been more Eastern Swing, but Steppin' has characteristics more similar to Western, especially its usage of a lane or slot. The term "Bop" was used to describe the dance form by Chicagoans until the early 1970s. Prior to that time "Bop" was a universally known term with its origin beginning sometime between 1945 & 1950 to express music and dance. The dance known as Chicago Steppin' evolved from Bop and is more likely a derivative of Jitterbug. No published syllabuses exist for the dance.Chicago-Style Stepping gained a real foothold when a local radio station, WVAZ (102.7FM/1390AM) began playing "Mr. Fix-It" and "Loves Gonna Last", two obscure songs recorded by Jeffree (Jeffree Perry) from his MCA 1979 Jeffree album. "Mr Fix it" had modest success as a single on the R&B charts. "Loves Gonna Last", an album cut, became so popular in Chicago that the steppers dubbed it The Steppers National Anthem. Popularity Steppin in Chicago goes back to the late 1940s early 1950s, originally called Bopping it evolved with soul music as the street corner harmony soul songs did with musical bands. Stepping remained popular throughout, even as Hip Hop and Rap music came along it remained main stream in the urban dance scene. Artist such as Grover Washington Jr., Micheal Jackson, Earth , Wind and Fire, Average White Band and especially James Brown (J.B.'s Mono-rail) all had hot stepping tunes aside from many others R. Kelly's songs that featured Steppin' or Stepping helped move the dance into national mainstream culture. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chicago_stepping
