In terms of a Songlorious update, the company is still in business and has done over $2.9 million in sales since appearing on Shark Tank. Further, they’ve expanded their roster of artists and genres and implemented a “try before you buy” option

I'm 100% sure that the sharks would accept $600k for the 40% ...this is an example oh how important is to develop negotiation skills. In that situation where all are interested in your company, you need to be able to have the control of the room.

I said the same thing 😂 after shark said he’s good at 500 for 40% when actually he initially offered 400k, I knew the guy could’ve asked and gotten 700-600k. Easily. 😂

I get overpaying a bit for a Shark to get access to their socials (of dubious reach beside Mark), but selling 40% at a terrible evaluation to a person that tells you to implement AI voices is an extremely dumb idea. Damon wanted on this deal not because the company was great, but because he smelled blood.

Most of the time, it’s not good to give up that much equity, but they are musicians, not business people. With the sharks their 60% is worth way more than 100% without them. That said, 40% for 600k with all 5 sharks would have been a better deal and a real dream team

I wish them the best, but has anyone tried Suno? Some of their AI generated songs have hundreds of thousands of plays. Plus, it only takes a few seconds to get a song for free, no matter how much detail you put in the prompt.

Songlorious has all the expertise in this industry already so they'll be much better at using AI to create their songs than any other new startup only beginning now.
