What went wrong here? Tristen should have researched every shark before his pitch, to determine how each would have added value to his brand (potentially ranking them), so when he was faced with this decision his choice would be most appropriate for his company. He would have already done the critical thinking, instead of going off his 'instinct' or 'gut-feeling'. Each shark makes reasons for why THEY should be the ones to invest in your brand. They are INVESTORS, they want you because they want to grow their portfolio, they want your money. If you get distracted by the cap table, like Cuban highlighted, you fail to identify the fit of that shark with your brand.

Kevin appreciates fine watches and jewelry and will be a great partner.

I wish they had follow-up up shows about what happened - what advice and support the sharks provided and how the investment and business panned out - maybe at 1, 2 , and 3 years. For the sharks, it would provide more advertisement for their businesses and products as well.
