That last statement is a bit odd. You are in favor of him being held accountable but not going to jail! Then how can he be held accountable? If this evidence shows that he is guilty of said crime, then he should be held accountable for his actions including being jailed. If he is guilty and does not face jail time then no one should ever be incarcerated again. This is not complicated!

Informative report. Thanks, Ms. Psaki. This is the first I've heard of Lanny Davis. I'd say Michael Cohen is extremely lucky to have Davis in his corner. That said, I'm disappointed to hear yet another person shy away from the idea of the defendant going to jail. What is this about? The idea of receiving special treatment at sentencing betrays core American ideas: rule of law....no one is above the law....etc. It's frustrating and disappointing how casually much-respected voices advocate for two-tiered justice.

You want to tear down and discard those parts of democracy that don't fit with your narrative. Detail can help to convict but also exonerate. Bill Barr would know much of what Trump did and didn't do. In a courtroom setting under oath, I'm sure that Barr could provide compelling testimony.

Mr. Cohen was my attorney, Trump paid him for his costs, classified as Legal Expenses" defense will simply state. Example, lawyers have printing costs and pass these costs along to their clients - clients reimburse the lawyers for its printing costs, classifies as Legal Expenses, not copany Printing Costs. Prosecution needs to draw a clear line (defined by IRS, CPA Society, CFO Association if possible) why these reimbursement costs were not Legal Expenses. Could be hard to do by the Prosecution.
