am I crazy or does Demongo's head look like a lava lamp?

I absolutely love demongo. Easily my favourite side antagonist in all of samurai jack. I love his design, his powers, his voice, all of it.

Jack was able to do this because he never lets go of the sword. The sword is the reason Jack was able to release the souls. At least that's the way I see it.

I thought this guy was the coolest minor villain in the show. Can you imagine if any of the warriors are the last of these civilizations? He'd be like Frieza.

This dude reminds me of the Orange Lantern Larfleeze from DC. With his ability to steal people's Souls and make them do his biding. Just absolutely terrifying.

I still love that Demongo, after everyone thought he was dead, shows up at a bar just to tell everyone he has no interest in contributing to the plot. And then leaves. Based Chadmongo W

I remember getting home in time to watch only the end of this episode and hoping they’d air it again soon because Demongo looked so cool.

Maybe Demongo was planning to rebelled against Aku, if Demongo had killed Aku with Jack's essence, Demongo would have been the most powerful villain.

2:39 "more to this than meets the eye" It's the magic sword. "....a foolish samurai warrior wielding a magic sword...". Maybe like ancestral power or true good or something like that is behind the power of the sword. The Celtic magic sword of the Scottsman also likely has some sort of ancient generational/ancestral power. Demongo and Aku share a similar color scheme and likely similar vulnerabilities. Everything but the blue though, could be that the blue has to do with the warrior souls or warrior spirit or something. Power scaling could relate to like....singular powerful deities/or multiple deities or something. The power of family or unity, etc... Really enjoying the series coverage and narrative tho, don't stop making videos.

hey, I just realized something could Demongo still be alive? if he was created before jack went back in time and destroyed his aku then he still should exist in the new timeline

Last time i checked he was indestructible, determination that is incorruptible from the other side, a terror to behold, every broken enemy would've know that demongo was indestructible

Im going to assume Demongo killed the Guardian since we saw him come back. I mean if anyone could do it it would definitely be him after what we saw he can do. This guy has the essence of every skilled warrior that ever existed 🪖 and the guardian killed literally anyone that tried to use the time portal. For all we know, The guardian could definitely be one of his essence now. I would have been happy with that explanation..
