Totally wrong interpretation. It is western interpretation. Your Interpretation is not supported by any acharya. Better explain science the shastra. There are many human like species like kumpurush, kinnar, vinayakas, vanar etc. They are human-like with a tail.

धन्य हो, भैया। 🔥👏 महाभारत में वृक जन जाति भी थी जो अस्त्र और शास्त्रों का व्यापार करते थे। ये सब यक्ष, वृक, वानर, गंधर्व अपने कर्म और गुण के अनुसार मनुष्यों की जातियों के नाम थे जैसे आज भी tribal people की जातियां होती हैं। ये नाम वैदिक संस्कृत के शब्दों से थे।

When tavan orders to burn tail of hanuman he used the word abhushan for the tail. Whoch means decoration or jwellery . Whoch tells that the tail that vanaras had was an external decoration pr jwellery that they wore . Even today many forest dwelling tribes do different sorts of decorations and stuff woth their bodies

They were not much different from us. They were different groups known for certain qualities. Gandharvas were expert in music and dance. Likewise Apsaras were beautiful ladies and wives of devtas. We need to understand that devtas were not Gods. Its gross mistranslation by english speaking people. Nagas were tribes of certain parts of India whose kuldevta is Naga. Likewise asur and rakshas were other tribal groups who practiced cannibalism.

@@SandeepMeena79 yes, asur means destructive forces and dev is what brings together. Rakshas means those who survive by drinking blood of others. In modern context it means gangsters, extortionists etc. But in those days rakshas tribes used to eat other humans to create terror in their minds.

Very informative video. Thanks! Probably we should read Valmiki Ramayan more. I got a doubt though. If Hanuman ji was not the way we usually tend to think then how did he burnt lanka from his "tail?"

Exactly! I have read the Valmiki Ramayana (full version) and there are some contradictions regarding this topic and others as well. That was one of them when I read that part, because the Critical Translation I read very clearly establishes that Vanaras are not monkeys, but forest tribes. I haven't found a logical or, at least, satisfying answer to that question. What comes to my mind is, because HanumanJi and Vanaras had the power to shift forms, and Ravan very specifically missed monkeys and humans as his pontential destroyers when getting his boon, maybe Vanaras tribes adopted the monkey form to fulfill Shri Ram's destiny as Shri Vishnu's Avatar and help him in his quest.
