I stopped watching television in '97, because I didn't like what it was saying to my kids. I see cartoons sometimes when I tutor. They are so violent and disjointed and full of sarcasm and insults masquerading as humor. It trickled down.

Ever since this incident occurred we have heard nothing but this almost rote condemnation of 'violence' from various leaders. Ms. Kayyem's remarks add little or nothing, except to contrast the 'lone wolf vs proud boy' theories. My preference now would be to hear no more about the whole thing until an official non-political and impartial investigation has been reported, if such a thing is still possible ... .
